If you’re in Memphis, it’s definitely worth a trip. Graceland (Elvis’s home) is interesting to visit, although the admission price is fairly high.
Visiting Graceland was a memorable experience and a real highlight of our trip through the southern states. As Elvis fans, it felt very special to walk through his home and see so much history preserved. The mansion itself is not as grand as some may expect, but that is part of its charm. It felt personal and gave a real insight into Elvis’ life and personality. Seeing the famous Jungle Room, his costumes, awards and personal items made the visit feel authentic and nostalgic. The grounds and exhibits were well organised, and the audio tour was informative and easy to follow. We particularly enjoyed learning more about Elvis’ career, family life and legacy. Paying respects at the Meditation Garden was also a moving part of the visit. The complex was busy, which is understandable given its popularity, and some areas felt quite commercial with the gift shops and additional attractions. Food and souvenirs were also on the expensive side. Overall, Graceland is definitely worth visiting, especially for Elvis fans or anyone interested in music history. It offered a unique glimpse into the life of an icon and created memories we will treasure.
We did the VIP tour pkg. had the BEST day! Being an Elvis fan this tour was a dream come true. A must for everyone of every age. Tons to see and experience. Easily spent 5+ hours there and it passed so quick.
Overall, it’s a nice experience, especially for someone interested in Elvis Presley. The regular tour ends pretty quickly, though, and the prices are skyrocketing. Honestly, it feels way too expensive.
Our visit to Gracelands totally exceeded our expectations. If you go to Memphis you must go.
Absolutely loved this place and the history it encapsulates. The tour was great, and the guest house was even better. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!
The ride on the big gold Graceland bus was great. The guide was informative and the driver professional. They kept us entertained with a film of Elvis's childhood in Tupelo and one of his many movies he starred in. The experience of being at his birthplace and childhood was quite moving especially when stepping over the threshold of his home. The reenactment of the church service and gospel singing in his childhood church was also extraordinary. The grounds were beautiful especially the meditation gardens. The tour added additional stops at various locations in the city involving his life, especially liked the tour of the Hardware store where his mother bought him his first guitar. The lunch also was good at a great location with great service. Would highly recommend.
Visited with my daughter for a bucket list trip! It was a very emotional tour and I loved every minute of it! Graceland was well maintained and it was amazing to see everything the way it was when he lived there with his family. The car exhibition was really fun to see as was the plane he traveled in. We were able to move through Graceland at our own pace with the audio and glad the crowds were small. It didn’t feel like we were being forced to move along which was nice. We were able to visit the place of rest for the whole family which was also very emotional. We bought the basic tickets which was perfect as we got to see everything we wanted over a 4 hour period. I am a life long Elvis fan and coming to Graceland has been a dream come true!
My son and I are both huge music fans and Elvis fans. This was a great experience to share with him. Seeing the jumpsuits and gold records might have been my favorite but that is a hard choice since the whole experience was wonderful.
What an awesome day. Our guide John was simply brilliant. His professionalism, knowledge and courtesy were exceptional.
