Elafonissi Beach Trip from Chania

Description
By far one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, Elafonissi is situated on the south west coast. A tropical effect is created by its white and pink coral sands. Head to the right for shallow water in a small enclosed lagoon ideal for the children. A walk through the lagoon to the islet is most worthwhile as you will discover this unique coastline.

An excellent tour with the best views and a very friendly and funny guide who made the tour much more enjoyable. I loved how well organized it was and the stops we made to try the local food; moreover, the beach was beautiful. I completely recommend it, 100% worth the price.
Our final two days in Crete were the perfect way to end an unforgettable journey. From the breathtaking beauty of Elafonisi Beach and the spectacular views from the Cave of Agia Sofia, to the crystal-clear waters of Balos Lagoon and the historic island of Gramvousa, every experience was memorable and beautifully organised. A heartfelt thank you to our tour director, Simona, whose passion for Crete, extensive knowledge, and genuine love for her adopted homeland brought each destination to life. Special thanks also to our driver, Vasilis whose professionalism, calm manner, and exceptional driving skills ensured we travelled safely and comfortably along Crete’s winding mountain roads. We always felt completely at ease. Together, they made a wonderful team, creating a seamless, enjoyable, and memorable experience.
A must see! The beach was magnificent and the weather sublime. Thank you Simona and Vasilios for making this trip AMAZING!!!! PHILOTIMO at its very best.🙏🏻💙🇬🇷
Amazing trip to visit Elafonissi Beach if you don’t have a car! No frills no sales pitches. The tour guides were soo friendly and great. We had a mix up with pick up location and the company took control and got us where we needed to go! Amazing customer service. Definitely recommend if you want to visit Elafonissi Beach and enjoy a scenic drive.
A great day trip to this beautiful (but busy) beach. Would recommend this trip that included a stop for breakfast and lunch in lovely village tavernas. Our guide (Simona) was excellent providing non stop english commentary during the coach journey. As long as you are prepared for large crowds at the beach you will not be disappointed. The sea is the clearest i have seen and very shallow so great for the little ones.
Tour leader are excellent, providing tips & history. The beach are not the same. You can barely see the pink sand. But the beach are nice
Lovely beach although not nearly as pink as shown in pictures, I feel these may have been enhanced somewhat. It was very windy as well and felt like we were being sand blasted. I am glad to have seen this beach but will not return. Also to note the carpark attendants will say the road is closed to get you to pay 5 euros to park however there is cheaper parking further down and closer to the beach for less. Could only stay for around 5 hours due to being sore from thd sand/wind
Beautiful beach and maybe the highlight was the authentic town we stopped at after for late lunch. Great tour guide very nice and informative
The day was lovely and the guide and bus driver were wonderful. The beach can be windy so be sure to bring items to weigh your beach towel down.
Well organised and well paced day tour! Simona was very knowledgeable and it was great hearing her stories about Crete during the trip
