Eco-Chontales Waterfall Tour
Description
Let's explore one of Costa Rica’s best kept waterfall secrets. This tour begins with a very scenic drive along the coastline. Upon arrival, our short hike down to the river begins! As soon as we will enter the canyon you will come to face with a majestic 150-foot waterfall. We will guide you to the many different features Eco Chontales has to offer - multiple calm swimming holes, areas perfect for taking photos, a mini waterslide & even places to jump from! There is a small jump (6 feet), but also a larger one for the thrill-seeker - 9 meter (28 feet +/-)! After we have explored all the features of the waterfall, we will create a mini on the spot-spa and turn into Avatars. We will apply mineral rich naturally colored blue clay on our bodies. This “rainforest clay” we provide is sourced near fresh spring water and is renowned for its healthy skin care properties. To finalize our experience, we will get to enjoy a delicious, freshly cooked Costa Rican meal at the river restaurant.

We had an amazing time with Corry and Leandro! They were unbelievably knowledgeable about their country, community and the ecosystem we were experiencing! They were great with my kids and so attentive to us. They were patient and took the trip at our pace. The food we ate at the restaurant by the falls was delicious! Gumi, our driver was wonderful! He kept us very safe and gave us a beautiful drive to enjoy the scenery! One of our favorite excursions in Costa Rica!
We had a fantastic morning at Eco Chantelles. Our guides Alex and Tyler were great! Knowledgeable, funny, helpful. The falls were not crowded which made the beautiful surroundings even more enjoyable. Lunch by the river was delicious. Our experience exceeded our expectations.

We went to the waterfall (eko Chantales) on a Tuesday (when maanuel antonio is closed. It was the highlight of our trip so far. Ismael, our guide, was fascinating, telling us about Costa Rica, the culture, and the wild life. His amicable explanations were a major part of why we had the best time. The waterfalls are beautiful. You can go swimming, jump into pools and so much more. The tour comes with a lunch and fruit which was great. I really recommend it. Went with my 10 and 12 year old daughters
Damien and DK were absolute rockstars on our waterfall hike! 🤩 They were incredibly patient with our kids, super knowledgeable, and made the experience so much fun. Safety was clearly a top priority, and they did a great job balancing adventure with caution. The lunch was delicious, and overall, it was an unforgettable experience. We had an amazing time visiting the falls! Our guides, Mike and Ken, were incredible. They were knowledgeable and informative but also a lot of fun. We enjoyed our own private visit that included a scenic (and bumpy - LOL) ride to the falls, hiking, swimming and a delicious lunch by the water. So much fun!
This tour was truly amazing. Our tour guide Ishmael was awesome! We learned a lot of cool things. The waterfall was breathtaking, blue clay was so much fun, and the food was fabulous! Can not say enough good things about this tour!
