St. Hripsime church was built on the grave of a Christian nun, who preached and spread Christianity in Armenia.
7th century church of Echmiadzin.
Echmiadzin is the world’s first Christian Cathedral. The word “Echmiadzin” means a place where “the only begotten son of the God descended”
One of the brightest landmarks of medieval Armenian architecture – the magnificent Zvartnots Temple was constructed in the 7th century.
It is the most famous pilgrimage site of the Armenian Apostolic Church.

The most extraordinary in this visit are the songs of great beauty sung by a chorus of women. And then the arrival of the patriarch with his procession of dignitaries. Thank you to Hayk for his good timing and comments that have allowed me to understand many things.

A very enjoyable tour. Our driver was Vazgen who was very friendly, courteous and a safe driver. He collected us on time and drove safely. Even though he wasn't our guide (only a driver), he provided us with lots of information on Armenia and the places we were visiting. Recommend!

Excellent tour. Artur was a very knowledgeable guide who organised the day very well and gave us a lot of information about the history and culture of Armenia. He and the driver took good care of us, even bringing the jacket we forgot in the car back to our hotel.
