The Kursaal Conference Centre has dominated the landscape of the Gros neighbourhood since 1999. We will see the centre during the tour as we pass by it.
From this famous surfing beach, we can enjoy beautiful views and learn about San Sebastian's ancient and contemporary history.
We will take a tour of this residential neighbourhood, which is a prime example of the changes brought about by Basque industrialisation.
The first district you will see when you arrive in the town of Pasaia is Ancho. This district and its industrial port perfectly reflect Basque industry.
We will be passing through this small village, but we won't be stopping.
We have arrived at our destination. This district is the epitome of a traditional Basque coastal fishing village. It is known as one of the most beautiful villages in the region. We will walk through the village to the river's mouth where it meets the sea. This will give us an insight into Basque culture and its historical relationship with the sea.
When we arrive at this beautiful cove, we can take a break from our travels and enjoy the stunning view of the Cantabrian Sea.

Had a fantastic tour with Pelayo. Took us along the easy bike path from San Sebastián to Pasajes. He was very friendly and very knowledgeable and shared so much information about the area, its people and culture. Fun to take the short boat trip across the channel to San Juan. Provided the chance to see some hidden spots you might not ordinarily get to. Highly recommended!
