Absolutely fantastic! Everyone from the tour guide to the assistants who were taking the photos were extremely friendly and helpful.
Gates of Heaven are completely phenomenal, but make sure you have your patience, because the queue is very long. Also be prepared to tip the photographer for better and longer photoshoot. Our driver and guide Juli single handedly made our trip unforgettable. Amazing guy with great English, went out of his way to make sure we are happy. Even drove us to places he was not obligated to as we had the ride included in a voucher. He has vast knowledge of the local spots and great attitude. Ask for him, you won’t regret it!
The tour guide Yasa is perfect. He was so patient throughout the waterfall trip. I did not know that we needed to trek the river to reach the waterfall. Because the day before when we made a trip to another waterfall, I could wear covered walking shoes and my feet did not get wet. Then Yasa voluntarily let me have his slippers...so kind of him. And he trekked with bare feet, walking through fine and sharp stones in the water. He also helped to ensure I would not fall (because I have balancing issues). Because of his patient and kindness, I enjoyed the waterfall trip very much. Similarly, it was very patient of him for the trip to Lempuyang Gate of Heaven. As such, we gave him extra tips. He is the best tour guide for my 3 different trips booked through Bali Sun (having 3 different tour guides).
The place was beautiful. The pictures taken were awesome and will forever hold a place in my heart. The experience was peaceful and I enjoyed the tour very much. The tour guide was great and allowed me to go about without pressing me for time.
