Our tour guide was a native of Mexico and while he did an ok job giving us some highlights of Dusseldorf, we wondered if a German guide would’ve been better, First, the meet point was listed incorrectly. It stated meet at Bilegal Translations at 42 Neustrasse. We even messaged back about the address because we saw no signage for Bilegal Translations. The shop at this location is a chocolate shop. So that was confusing. Second, Ricardo walks at a moderate pace which was a bit too fast for some in our group. Also, he doesn’t wear a microphone and he talks while walking, so only the person walking right beside or behind him heard him. This is probably our biggest complaint. Of course when he stopped and we could gather around, we could all hear him. We walked through the Alstadt, then over to the coffee tower near the river, past a well known liquor shop, by the historical museum, past some nice hotels and ended at the museums 20 & 21. We did follow some of his tips and went back later to the museums on our own, so that was nice to have that advice. All in all, I feel you could do a self guided tour and see the same things, but he did provide some specific information we wouldn’t have known otherwise.

I loved the experience, I went alone, the group was 6 and Ric provided us with a lot of information throughout the tour, it is totally worth it. I recommend it 5/5.
Ricardo provided a great introduction to Dusseldorf's history and attractions with a delightful, light spirited, approach.
First time ever booking a solo walking tour. And was amazing. It felt like I was hanging with a friend Ronny was so warm and kind. He was full of Dusseldorf history and provided a ton of recommendations that I followed. I highly recommend a solo tour.
Nice guide Ricardo (Ricky Martin) who told a lot with fun and humor. From the start, a casual atmosphere. He gave a good impression of Düsseldorf and showed beautiful places. We are very satisfied with this guide and with the tour.
Our Guide, Ricky, was an excellent story teller, he was funny, interesting, helpful and informative and really brought the city to life for us. We really enjoyed the tour and took advantage of his suggestions for the rest of our visit including the excellent restaurant!
An excellent walking tour of the city. Very informative. Weather was poor which let it all down a bit but not the tour guides fault. He was great!
Really good walking tour with Ricardo. Thank you! Great information about Dusseldorf. Good recommendations!!
Very nice and informative your leader. Made for a very nice experience. Would recommend Ricky and the tour in general to others.
The guide had trouble speaking in English and had very little knowledge about the city. The walking tour was not what is advertised here.
