We had booked a tour of 5-6 hours and got Zamani Shelembe as our guide. What a fantastic experience. Zamani knew so much to tell and no effort was too much for him to show us everything that was worthwhile. Zamani also knew a lot about history. We had lunch at an Indian restaurant where we had a Bunny Chow for the first time in our life. Not really South African but very tasty. Zamani is a guide who will make you feel safe everywhere, between the stalls at the medicinal and herbal market, the Victoria Street Market. With Zamani next to you, you walk fine everywhere. He is so very nice company, tells a lot and has humor. We enjoyed ourselves to the max.
Wonderful time in Durban with Rennie. Extremely knowledgeable and passionate. This guy literally knows everyone, everywhere we went he was greeted as a friend and that made us feel very comfortable and in good hands. If you go to Durban these guys are affordable, drive extremely clean and modern SUV’s and know their stuff.
