Beautiful city! Surprisingly large while having a small town feeling. Our Gide was wonderful showing us everything in one short day
My experience was good and there were other travelers on the sightseeing trip which made the experience even better. The guide I had was excellent. I recommend this tour.
Brilliant tour. From pick up to drop off we were thoroughly entertained by our excellent guide Bule. We saw all the main tourist sights but were also treated to the backstreet Zulu medicine markets and numerous places of historical interest. Bule’s entertaining commentary kept us thoroughly entertained and he was able to answer all our questions. The Botanical garden visit was a wonderful element. We paid extra for a 30 minute golf cart tour with Vishnu who showed us the highlights of the gardens (do not miss this extra). I recommend this tour to anyone wanting to explore Durban safely. You will see all the areas and understand why the town is so diversified. Thanks again Bule.
Mr Sotiris and Fortune were so friendly and informative. They helped as get the most out of our trip in South Africa and we certainly did have a Blast
A very good 3-4 hour tour. Many different aspects of the city were shown and our guide Thane was excellent.
Tour not adhered to as described Arrived 4 hours later Guide very prudent, even stubborn.
Good morning. We apologise that the tour did not meet your expectations. We do understand how disappointing the situation was given the weather conditions and delays at the gate. After reviewing the circumstances of the day , we’ll explain how the refund amount was calculated . Although we could not proceed with the full program due to the unexpected blockage caused by another company’s vehicle at the entrance due to the mud caused by the heavy rain which was beyond our control. Several costs had already been incurred in preparation for your tour, which include the vehicle hire ,transport costs, translators, tour guides fees and conservation fees . All these were paid in advance to unsure the tour could go ahead as scheduled . despite the shortening of the tour , the service providers still had to be compensated so a partial refund of the total amount can be given, while this may be disappointing ,but we truly did our best to deliver the experience under very challenging condition. Regards Zulu Safaris
Ooh it was a wonderful experience I really enjoyed the tour The best part of the trip was the opportunity to see different types of flowers and trees of different species
Freddie is a wonderful guide! Always smiling, extremely helpful and didn’t rush us throughout the tour. He was very candid with sharing tons of information which was very insightful. I’m planning on booking another tour and will specifically request for him!
Thanks for choosing us to care of you, for the experience and hope to host you again next time you are in Durban We will also make sure that we tell Freddy about the amazing job he did with you guys So thank once again for the wonderful review
Alain was the consummate tour guide for our half day in Durban. He was friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the many areas we visited, including the Kwa Muhle Museum, Victoria Street Market and the Durban Botanic Gardens. We saw the city from many vantage points in the car and on foot, and had a wonderful time!
We thought we had booked a small group tour, when the driver picked us up we were surprised, it was a private tours. Great guide, felt really safe in the car, he was a taxi driver before becoming a guide so he new his way around. Very knowledgeable, plenty of stops and photo opportunities. Went and visited all places noted in the itinerary plus a few more. Local market in Durban a little intimidating with a lot of hardshell but guide very politely moved us on. Great value, best and safest way to see Durban.
