What a great day. Deana was a great guide. You could tell that she loved leading this adventure and she had a lot of fun stories to share about the area. Dunrobin was beautiful and I can only imagine how glorious the gardens would be in the spring and summer. The little towns we stopped in along the way were quaint. I really enjoyed the lighthouse… and think the rain made it even more atmospheric. You can’t control the weather, but somehow it didn’t diminish the day.
This tour is a nice way to see some interesting places that would take considerable time accessing via public transportation. Our tour guide Ellie (I'm not sure I spelled her name correctly, my apologies if I did not) was knowledgeable and fun. My primary interest at Dunrobin Castle was the gardens so l explored those first. The castle itself had more stairs than I was comfortable taking after all the stairs in the gardens. If you have limited stair climbing ability, choose your main interest first. The views of the sea and the countryside by Tarbat Ness Lighthouse are beautiful. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Rabbie's tour guides are awesome.
Great trip to see Dunrobin Castle and the surrounding area. Seana, our driver and guide was highly informative and shared local knowledge and great stories with us.
Shawna was an amazing guide and driver. The fact that she grew up just down the road from Dunrobin Castle enabled her to share interesting stories both about the castle and local folklore. The castle itself was well worth seeing, and Dornoch was a lovely place for lunch. Definitely recommended.
The scenery was beautiful. Great guide and beautiful stops. Very relaxing and enjoyable. Plenty of time given to enjoy the sights!
A great tour and an excellent commentary by a very nice guide. The gardens of Dunrobin are beautiful as are the flower arrangements within the Castle. Included was a trip to Tarbat Ness lighthouse, very enjoyable.
It was great to see Dunrobin castle again. We got some fantastic insights about some of the local history and enjoyed the small group size and saw some cool additional sites. If you’re just looking to experience Dunrobin castle, you can do it on your own but the other sites and info made this tour worth it.
Punctual rally in front of Inverness Cathedral. Bus comfortable and clean. Guide-driver Claire prepared and kind. Nice tour visiting unusual places. In the morning Dunrobin Castle, then after lunch in the village of Dornock we visit the Easter Ross, little touristic peninsula where we go to discover the Picts, ancient Scottish inhabitants.
