Two Countries, One Day.

To be honest I was initially concerned that our tour only involved a driver, Pero, but he was very informative and stayed connected to us at all times. Long day because of all the border crossings, but able to see several cities in both Montenegro and Bosnia. Pero gave us details of specific spots to see in each stop including food recommendations.

Beautiful experience

Igor was our driver who was always polite and careful in his driving. We crossed six borders which could have taken a long time but he did it as efficiently as possible. He followed the Viator itinerary very well and asked us how long we wanted to spend at each location, giving us some guidelines. He was excellent at recommending a fabulous restaurant for a late lunch in Bosnia. Igor’s communication with us about meeting points, etc. was great. I would highly recommend this tour as the scenery was jaw-dropping, especially in Montenegro around the Bay of Kotor. We have seen much of Europe and this was stunning. To add to it, Igor was a wonderful driver and addition to the day!

Visiting Perast and Kotor is worthwhile

It is not realistic to visit both Bosnia and Montenegro on the same trip because of the time it can take to cross borders (one crossing took 40 minutes and visiting both countries requires 4 crossings). We ended up only visiting Montegegro (Perast and Kotor) as well as Sokol Kulo on the way, and all were very worthwhile. The driver was a good driver and helped us plan a realistic trip but not much of a guide and did not provide much history or context so we had to look things up as we went along.
