The guide was exceptional and knowledgeable. What can you ask for more than a history teacher and a podcaster to explain you history. Such a perfect evening to finish our two days in Ireland.
Amazing experience and great tour guide, Thanks again Darragh !! Little mix up regarding the meeting point but that was very well handled by Sara. I'm strongly recommand to any one looking for ghostly stories.
A great tour that was extremely informative and fun. Our guide was excellent and a great storyteller. We learned so much about Dublin and its history and historical characters.
This was a fascinating and thoroughly researched tour. Our guide was knowledgeable, warm, and friendly. We learned a ton about Dublin's history and dark tales. We were a little confused when the tour seemed to have started about 20 minutes before the scheduled start time (we arrived 15 minutes before the tour and it had already started). We also found it curious that the tour was still going after 2 hours, as our booking indicated it was a 90-minute tour. Perhaps the instructions we received were outdated or incorrect. Regardless, the guide was fantastic, and I would highly recommend taking this tour if you are in Dublin.
Our tour was supposed to be on Tuesday. I received an email Tuesday afternoon that the tour was cancelled due to not meeting the quota and would I like a full refund or to reschedule. I responded that I would like the refund but received no response. I emailed again yesterday asking for confirmation that I would receive a refund, still no answer. It’s Thursday now and I’ve received no response and no refund but they did email asking for a review. I wouldn’t recommend this company because they canceled the tour at the last minute and haven’t issued the refund they should.
Guided tour by a passionate and exciting history teacher. His stories tell of a Dublin that can’t be found on Google.
It was a fun little walking tour with good stories of the past. Listening to stories of other bad people to the past in a Halloween setting worked for us!
The tour was alright. The problem came at the end. The ticket and the website said it started and ended at the same place, barnado square, on the main route and populated. The tour operated ended the tour at St. Odins. When asked about returning to the square where we started she said it just follow this street. So she left us at 9:30 at night in a run down place, with no idea where we were after witnessing a mugging not far from there during the tour. I wouldn't suggest doing this tour alone or if just 2 women as ,we did, as it didn't feel safe.
Both my wife and I had a great time on this walking tour as the guide was very knowledgeable, and the stories were entertaining. If you're into ghosts, secret societies, and colourful characters, then you'll have a great time.
We all enjoyed the tour. Our guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. We learned a lot about the dark side of the city's history. We, regrettably, didn't see any ghosts, but good fun all the same.
