Beautiful scenery, ace driver Richard- very knowledgeable & courteous. Powerscourt gardens stunning. Shame the tour doesn't take you to the waterfall.
WOW, what can I say definitely a great value. The tour guide was super amazing. Powerscourt was amazing it was so beautiful. We got to stop for lunch in a cute little town and then the waterfall it was a hike but so amazing. Despite people not paying attention to meetings time, the guide got us everywhere on time. The guide even took us to the bridge in Ps I Love you. So much packed in and he was so informative.
Beautiful excursion, unfortunately partly in the rain.
Thank you for the positive feedback
Terrific day trip from Dublin. Even though it is a full day, there is a good break up of activities so it feels short. The Powerscourt Gardens are spectacular even in the rain . We especially loved the Japanese Garden section and the roses of the Walled Garden. The surrounding mountains gave the garden a stunning backdrop. Lunch was a cute and efficiency place too. Glendalough was special. Old. A thin place. Nice scenic drive too with photo stops.
Thank you Victoria for the excellent review.
Tour was very relaxing and fun, our guide(Driver) Matt was absolutely professional about the whole tour, he managed the time very well. He was also had plenty knowledge about Irish history.
Thank you Henry for the high recommendation.
Very bumpy ride. Unsure if that is why other riders fought for a different seat every stop - but despite being very early to ensure I could get a seat that would work for my injured shoulder, I ended up in one that did not work halfway through the tour on my third reseating. Driver Kevin said he could not manage that and "it had happened before." Things on top shelf fell twice on people with the driving, and almost a third when we had to ask the driver to stop so it could be caught. Things outside of the driving (like scenery) were great.
Sorry to hear about your shoulder but the roads in Ireland we travel can be small and windy.
Loved the tour. Linda was an excellent guide. She kept us informed about what we were seeing and how to get the best experience. The small group was the perfect size.
Thank you very much for the wonderful review
Amazing tour!! We would highly recommend .. small group and very comfortable mini bus and excellent value for money. Richard our guide was brilliant and so knowledgeable .. open to questions and so helpful 🙏 You stop for lunch in small village snd you are led to ‘poppies cafe’ .. afraid our only disappointment of the day sadly.. food was very expensive basic and bland we paid a lot and didn’t eat it and others did the same .. wish we had tried tried other places in the village, there are many .. or eat at powerscourt gardens where food is far superior.
Thank you very much Louise for the excellent review and I'll check the food options.
Hilltop Treks, the tour operator booked via Viator, provided an exceptional tour to Powerscourt, Glendalough and Wicklow. The tour exceeded our expectations. Our guide Richard, was extremely knowledgeable, easy to follow and very patient with all of us. He provided commentary along the way, which kept the journey educational, entertaining and fun. We would highly recommend this tour company and our tour guide.
Thank you very much Ellen for the excellent review and recommendation.
Very picturesque and interesting places. The guide is well-prepared and friendly. A small van that does not make you feel like a herd of sheep. Recommendation.
Thank you very much for the excellent review.
