What a lovely night! The guides were perfect--funny, smart, entertaining, friendly. We walked from pub to pub--with two other stops along the way, Trinity College and Molly Malone statue. In each location, a bit. of history, literary connections, songs. The pubs were fun. I'd do it again!
Outstanding! The two guides were hilarious, but when necessary very serious about managing the safety of the group and keeping everything moving along in an orderly fashion. some fabulous people during the tour, a very friendly atmosphere. This is Marion Street upper
Terrible! I waited for a half hour at the meeting point and no one showed up. This is the worst organized mess that I have experienced.
Really enjoyed our literary walking tour in downtown Dublin last night original theatrical experience, educational fund tons of great people highly recommend
Thanks Alan. It's the people who make it for us. Otherwise we would have stopped long ago. Colm
This was an amazing experience! The guys were fabulous, so nice but also amazing actors. Very funny and engaging tour. Would absolutely recommend it to anyone! Also learned a lot! Loved it!
Thanks for joining us..! COLM
My college graduate son and I booked this during our stay in Dublin. And we had a ball. As a former English major, I loved the playwright history and performances. And our tour guides were so friendly. Frank gave us a recommendation for a pub with live music afterwards, and it was the perfect end to our night. Also, they run a quiz with the winner getting a free shirt. We were excited to win!
Thanks Shani for joining us COLM
Book directly through the tour to give the guides a larger cut. …………………………………………………………………………………………..
Thanks for coming Josh ANNE
I am so happy my family and I did the pub crawl! Our guides were funny, knowledgeable, and talented. Irish folk music and recitals from famous literary works? Just awesome.
Thank you Stephanie...! Colm
Main guide Colm took us through the literary history and some recitations throughout the tour while John joined us at times throughout to provide music on guitar (joined by Colm with some lovely harmonies at times). It's clear they are both very passionate about what they do and very knowledgeable. Very interesting concept but disappointed by how long the pub stops (2) stretched on for when the literary aspects were largely delivered independent of that.
Thank you for your feedback. Literary quotes are delivered both in the Duke and in front square of trinity. There are two pub stops for drinks. (20 mins each) That was made clear at the top. There are some reductive remarks here about the content. Be assured that we quote from a lot of writers, past and present. There are some great songs sung by John, with Colm's harmonies. More we cannot do. Anne
The experience was wonderful. Their performance, historical context, cultural relevance, and entertainment was top shelf. If your group is 21 & above, and enjoy spirits, history, and literature this is one of the best ways to see and experience Edinburgh! We walked away with more intriguing facts about so many great Scottish authors! It was a highlight of our trip.
