Description
We love Dublin and we love showing people around Dublin; the city who's long and illustrious story we are proud to be part of. Each of us is an actor, a writer, a musician or an artist of some description, offering a unique account of our beloved city, its people, its history and its stories. We will show you some of the absolute ‘must sees’ in Dublin, like Dublin Castle, Christchurch Cathedral and Trinity College, and also some of the city’s forgotten corners and hidden gems; always from our own unique perspective, with an insight and knowledge we feel we’re uniquely placed to give you.

From Viking origins, through conquest and occupation, all the way to Ireland's hard-fought for independence, Dublin Castle has always been close to the centre of it all. The tomb of Strongbow, the heart of Lorcan O'Toole, The Cat & The Rat, we'll tell you all about this famous old building and give you some of our favourite ways it has found a place in Dublins canon of lore
Ireland's oldest theatre has stood in Temple Bar since 1662, its long and storied life has seen it go from Theatre Royal to Catholic Church and back to theatre again. Star of a million postcards (and instagram posts, for that matter), Dublin's famous Georgian gem of a footbridge has been straddling the River Liffey since 1816. We'll tell you all about its history, from its connection to the battle of Waterloo, all the way to fender guitars and everything in between.
A bridge wider than it is long, we'll cover some of the historic things that it has bore witness to, some of the nation-defining events that happen only yards away, as well as the great man that it was named after
The old centre of Georgian Dublin, flanked on either side by beautiful buildings, we'll point out some of the lesser-mentioned oddities of this famous old thoroughfare.
Ireland's oldest and most famous college, renowned for its beautiful library which houses (amongst other things) the Book Of Kells and the Brian Boru Harp. We'll finish up directly outside this revered and storied old campus.

Absolutely fantastic walking tour of Dublin with Ian! 🇮🇪 Ian was an incredible guide — so passionate, knowledgeable and genuinely entertaining. His humour brought the history to life, and his storytelling made every stop fascinating. You could tell how much he loves Dublin and its history, and that passion was infectious. Funny, engaging, full of fascinating facts and delivered with such personality. Ian made the whole experience feel less like a tour and more like spending a few hours with someone who genuinely wanted you to fall in love with Dublin. Couldn’t recommend this tour highly enough — and if you get Ian as your guide, you’re in for a treat! 🍀👏
Well worth it. Alan brought the city to life through its tumultuous history. He gave context to everything we saw and shared his passion for Ireland’s evolution.
We had a nice tour through the city for two hours. I think for us it could’ve been a bit longer or a bit more in depth, but that probably doesn’t fit in a two hour walk. Dan was real knowledgeable and funny!
Took this tour on our family trip to Ireland (5 adults). Alan was an incredible guide! Passionate, funny, professional and friendly. We learned a lot about Irish history and culture that we wouldn’t have otherwise, and had a great walk around the city. Would definitely recommend, and WELL worth the tour fee!
Dan is a superb guide, very knowledgeable, entertaining, attentive. We learned so much history and context for our time in Dublin. It was a walking classroom. .
Our Tour Guide was very knowledgeable and spend time at each location explaining what occurred at each site. However, there was not enough time allowed to take photographs. Viator walking towards always feel rushed.
The tour guide was very energetic and knowledgeable. We found the tour engaging and fun, and it felt very relaxed and welcoming.
