You can't give zero stars. They didn't turn up or even message or respond to my message . Viator attempted to help but were also unable to contact.Currently waiting for a refund that has to come from the tour company but have my doubts
Very interesting and informative tour. Not too hurried, with lots of stops. Good departure from the glittering Downtown modern mall based attractions. Our guide Islam was excellent.
A must do in Dubai! Hamzah was a wonderful, knowledgeable and patient guide. He took time to answer all questions and was a wealth of knowledge.
Hamaz was great! Very knowledgeable about old and new Dubai, and was a great tour guide with laughter sprinkled in between.
Very good overview of the souks and history of the area. Hamza was awesome and made everyone feel very comfortable and not rushed. Although there is a fair amount of walking - it is not strenuous and there are plenty of breaks.
Abdel was a very good guide, providing interesting historical explanations and he took care of his clients very well.
This experience was incredible! I highly recommend! Our guide Seef (“safe”) was amazing! He did a great job of setting expectations, explaining a lot of the history behind the UAE & helping us navigate different areas of the city that we otherwise wouldn’t have seen! He encouraged us to ask any and all questions we had (not just about the market but about anything at all) which we thoroughly enjoyed!) The tour was slightly different than what I expected (it was seeing different markets and there was a (very delicious) meal in the middle. We got to try 4 different foods during the meal, in addition to Dubai chocolate, Dubai (non alcoholic) beer & chocolate with dates. I was expecting tasting a few bites at multiple locations but that wasn’t exactly the case. It was really enjoyable but just slightly different than what we were thinking. We did have some coffees and other small treats in addition to the meal & tastings in the middle. The group size was small (around 10 or us total) and it was a wonderful experience. Definitely make sure you don’t miss this one!! & ask for “Safe” to be your instructor if you’re wanting a laid back, funny & authentic guide! Quick tips: Make sure you wear your walking shoes & come hungry & ready for delicious food, but not starving (you eat about halfway through!) Arrive at the market area earlier than your tour time! The starting market is really cool (although the prices at that market are much higher than standard prices later in the tour) & there are other things to do in this area as well! (Museum of illusions/ Aya universe etc). Book this one at the start of your trip to get a taste of different things you can do & maybe even make some friends! Highly recommend 10/10! :)
It is a great chance to experience old Dubai from an expert. It was wonderful! Our guide was very knowledgeable and patient. We would definitely do this again!
Beautiful walk in the old city of Dubai between the souks. Excellent our guide Mido who in a perfect Italian told us the history and customs of the emirate also making us have fun.
Tour between the spice souk and the gold souk, crossing the Creek with the typical Abra and tastings. Mido, our guide, spoke excellent Italian and explained the history of these neighborhoods and anecdotes related to the territory. Very good and prepared. I recommend it.
