“To properly experience a culture one must experience their Beer.” Step inside four traditional Dublin pubs off the tourist trail. Please note: this activity is only suitable for those above the age of 18. On this tour you will visit 4 stops led by expert guide: Stop 1: Traditional Dublin Pub-watch traditional Irish music and learn about Irelands oldest Beer. Stop 2: Hipster Dublin - Learn about Irelands Craft Beer Scene. At Stop 2 we have a fun pub quiz. Stop 3: Local Dublin - Visit the Darkest Pub in Dublin and Learn about Irish Cider. Stop 4: Guinness Outside Guinness. Visit where Guinness workers go to drink after work. Learn how to Drink Guinness from a former Guinness Ambassador. Please note: on this tour, you pay for your individual drinks. Customers average a total spend of around €25. This way you choose how much or how little you drink. Over 18 only.

Our Drinks on Foot Tour lasts 3.5 hours. This is not a pub crawl, instead, it is a drinks experience. We will bring you on a Irish Drinks journey through time, sharing with you the history and stories behind Ireland’s greatest exports. What makes our tours different is that you purchase your own beer at 4 different stops. Although we make recommendations, you get to enjoy what you like, not just what somebody gives you. In addition, all our stops are surprise stops – We think that’s a big part of the fun.

Take this trip early on in your stay, you get lots of interesting hints and suggestions for places to visit. A really engaging walk that gives a varied picture of the pub culture in Dublin, always with focus on the Dubliners themselves. Great tour, strongly recommended.

My husband and I went on this tour with Kevin yesterday afternoon and what a fun experience it was. Kevin chose 4 different venues, all of which were great. As most food/drink tours we have been on, this did not disappoint, especially from the standpoint of meeting the others that are doing the same. Kevin had said we would feel like family at the end and there were some definite “oh so glad we met you” etc. Highly recommend this tour.
