Pioneer Plaza celebrates the cattle drives that breathed economic life into Dallas starting in the 1840’s. Dallas We were a ‘red meat’ town well before we were an oil and gas town.
The plaza marks two important elements in Dallas’ founding - the spot where John Neely Bryan would establish a trading outpost that would spark DFW’s development and part of the original path of the Trinity River. The Plaza gained infamy as the site of the assasination of President Kennedy in 1963.
30 foot diameter, making it the worlds biggest non-biological eyeball. It came to Dallas in 2013 and is a part of The Joule hotel’s art collection. The small park hosting the eye is one of the hotels event venues.
Intended to be a kind of ambassador to Deep Ellum and give recognition to its industrial past, locomotives in particular, and art-based present.
The block represents 6 turn-of-the-century homes designed in a Victorian/Queen Anne style by Frederick P. Wilson and his family. 3. One home in the historic district, the Aldredge House, is now a museum. Section of the Swiss Avenue Historic District, which is a kind of gateway to Old East Dallas.

We had an amazing time! We've lived in Dallas for many years but have never done a tour like this. Tony was our guide and was very informative and patient. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Faz was fantastic. Great tour. The e scooters were fun to ride and there was a good effort made to keep it very safe.

Tour guide was excellent and made sure everyone was prepared and comfortable before we started. He did a great job guiding us through the streets of downtown Dallas. Tour stops were well- planned and covered many interesting stops that I never would have discovered on my own. Anyone going on this tour should be comfortable going on downtown city streets, mixing with other traffic.
Faz and Cody made it a very Good experience we loved it .so much fun running around town on scooters. They were easy to maneuver and drive. Perfect amount of stops and sights the guys were awesome and kind. Went for our senior spring break
