The tour was really good! As a transfer, there was a taxi, which was always punctual for pick-up. However, when we arrived, we had to 1. walk very far and 2. wait quite a long time. The boats for the tour were all quite full as well. The tour guides were very nice and explained everything to us. However, one should still know that the spots visited are generally tourist destinations, and accordingly, there are many other people there (which the tour itself cannot control). The spots visited are beautiful, and we were able to see dolphins :) Overall, the tour was a very nice experience.
We booked with Costa Sea Excursions at the beach of the Zilwa Attitude Hotel! It was absolutely great, and Costa is super nice and helpful! He was also always available for questions via WhatsApp. The excursion started very early in the morning (05:30). But since we were in the north and had to go to the south, that is the usual time. Dolphins are best seen in the morning, and later more boats arrive. Due to the numerous boats, we decided to observe the dolphins "only" from the boat, which was a great experience. Afterward, we went to Cristal Rock where one could snorkel. Afterward, we went to the beach for the BBQ. It was a great experience and absolutely recommendable!
We had an absolutely incredible time on this dolphin swim and Crystal Rock excursion! From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized and smooth. The team was very welcoming, professional, and made us feel comfortable right away. Swimming with the dolphins was truly magical and a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The guides were respectful of the animals and ensured everyone felt safe in the water. Seeing dolphins up close in their natural habitat was just unforgettable! Crystal Rock was another highlight, such a unique and beautiful spot. The BBQ lunch on Île aux Bénitiers was delicious, fresh, and well prepared, with a great relaxed island vibe. Overall, this experience exceeded our expectations. If you’re visiting Mauritius, this is definitely a must-do! Highly recommended, we would do it again without hesitation.
