This was a great experience. We saw adult dolphins and one newborn. The guide was great and helped everyone get the most out of the trip. I highly recommend this adventure!
Our guide Prudence is a gem! We are in good shape, but novices in kayaking. She showed us how to kayak and then a 90 minute session on the water. Highly recommend!
Fun outing on a beautiful night. 2 couples in their 60s had a great time kayaking Folly Creek. We stayed in a condo on the ocean in Folly Beach and Charleston SUP was located within a ~10 minute walk from our condo. After a storm forced our first reservation to be canceled, they were great about finding a new spot for us and we were rescheduled for an evening kayak on a gorgeous night. Saw dolphins and lots of birds, but the best part was being out on the water. Prudence was a great guide.
Wow! Thanks so much for sharing your amazing kayak experience with us! We are so glad the weather allowed for an amazing time. We hope to see y'all again soon!
We had a beautiful morning kayaking with the dolphins. Amazing experience. Staff is super friendly and helpful.
Thank you so much for sharing your review! We are so glad you had an amazing time. Come back soon!!
We booked a sunset kayak tour for 10 people through Tripadvisor. Tripadvisor unfortunately did not communicate our reservation to Charleston SUP Safaris. Tripadvisor sent me multiple emails ahead of our trip so I did not think to make sure the company had received our reservation. However, upon arrival, Charleston SUP Safaris went over and above to find us a river guide and make sure they could make good on our tour. Our river guide was the best and we had an up close encounter with a dolphin - very cool. Thank you Charleston SUP Safaris for turning what could have a been a very disappointing experience into an amazing experience!
Aloha, Thanks for the "Amazing Experience" review on your Sunset Kayak Tour on Folly Beach. Our guides are great at spotting dolphins and sometimes having close encounters. We love what we do and it shows! We're currently working with Viator to get the connection issue corrected so all of our guest will arrive with professionally trained guides ready to start the tour.
Had a great time and Prudence did an amazing job. Would recommend it to anyone no matter what skill level.
Thank you so much for your review! It's true, anyone can kayak! Just bring yourselves and we do ( and teach) the rest! Hope to see y'all again soon!
Great way to spend the morning away from the crowds. Our guide was fantastic. She knew the spots to see dolphins. We saw a baby, mom and dad!
Prudence was a great guide! We learned about the area, had a great kayak in the sunset and yes, saw dolphins! It was a perfect way to enjoy the sunset while visiting!!
Our guide Prudence was awesome and John took great care of us while getting the excursion booked. Our family of 6, young adults aged 17-22 and my wife and I had a fantastic time. Only down side was it wound up being a cooler day and low tide, so we dint see dolphins. Prudence still gave us a great tour and lots of interesting information.
We live in South Carolina but wanted to do a kayak tour in Folly. It was amazing! Dolphins all around us! So much fun to see the river and creeks from the kayaks. Prudence was the perfect guide.
