We start our tour by swimming with dolphins near Nungwi beach coast north of Zanzibar island
After doing swimming with dolphins at Nungwi beach coast, we then continue our adventure cruising north west of Zanzibar island to one of the most amazing small isles called tumbatu, we will do snorkeling near the Tumbatu island, discover the beautiful corals that are scattered with beautiful marine species.

If you are not in Kendwa or Nungwi, then we must meet at a meeting point known as Mama Mia Restaurant which is located at Nungwi, if you need taxi transportation we can arrange it for you with additional cost, otherwise you can come with your own transport.

Swimming with the dolphins was great, the snorkeling rather mediocre because the water was not clear and there were not really many fish to see. We had the hope of seeing a lot of living corals, but they were only there sporadically.
We had a great time on this excursion. The care was really top, punctual and efficient from the start of the hotel. The crew is really very friendly and caring. Even if the guides are not Francophone, they do everything to make themselves understood and we did very well! Special mention for the fresh fruit platter, which was a real treat on the boat. The only black spot that has hurt us a lot: the state of corals, which are very damaged in this area. Sad to see, but the encounter with the dolphins and the kindness of the team make up for the overall experience. A beautiful day despite this ecological observation.

We booked the "Snorkeling with dolphins and tumbatu island" tour. We were picked up on time directly from the beach of our hotel. We were communicating directly with Captain Barnabas and everything went very smoothly. We were lucky and had our own private tour. Hassan and Ocho (I am noch sure I write his name correctly) were the best guide and captain you could think of. We saw a really big group of dolphins. I could count at least 20 of them. Hassan picked my phone and made such amazing Videos of the dolphins. I wouldn't be able to do that, I was struggling with the equipment myself because I am not a pro. 😅 After that we went to Tumbatu for snorkeling and chilling on the boat with freshly cutted fruit. I can only recommend this trip.
Very good contact per whatsapp and mail with Captain Barnaba for booking a surprise dolphin (private) trip for my wife and me on honeymoon. Customizing no problem and very good communication about the booking, payment and pick-up at the hotel. The guys who took us made a great effort to make this day worth rembering. And they succeeded <3. We swam allongside/with a school of dolphins multiple times. After that snorkeling at Tumbatu island. With mr. Abra as guide and safety swimmer. Seen wonderful things. Yes! We foúnd Nemo :-) After that a tropical lunch and transfer back to Zanzibar island. Their driver waited the whole time to take us back to the hotel. Totally recommendable! Super friendly guides. Dolphins were recorded by the guide with a GoPro and sent to ums. Food on board was also very good!
we were almost alone on the water and saw a lot of dolphins. The pick up also worked wonderfully and the guides were very nice.
It was an incredible experience. We got so close to the dolphins that even one touched me. The guides were nice and very accommodating. The pick-up service also worked perfectly.
Excellent contact for booking. Very friendly escorts. On the day of the trip, there was a lot of wind, so a lot of hollow waves, and it was not easy for my grandchildren to dive. However, they dove a few times, and saw the dolphins and did a tiny bit of snorkeling. But there are far too many boats, they are on top of each other in the place of snorkeling; I feared that my grandchildren would be hit by a boat. At the next stop, on the sandbar... it's a pile of boats, a crowd not possible. No pleasure, really. It's beautiful... the water is turquoise... the white sand, but it's the tourist factory. Very unpleasant. Too much time to navigate for that.
