What a phenomenal day!!! Alpine views, fresh air, pristine lakes, and ski towns. It was a magical way to break up the city tours of Venice and see something wonderful with the whole family. Alessio, our driver, was fun, energetic, informative, and a great guide of both the local excursion and also as an ambassador to the region. 10/10 !!!
What a disappointment! We paid a lot of money to go see the mountains. That's literally all we did. Drove there, had lunch and drove back. The driver said most places are closed during the off season. Then why are you offering this tour during these months?
Excellent customized day trip to Dolomites. Great views of mountains, snow covered lakes, experienced local treats in cappuccino shop, local mountain ristorate for lunch, and special request stop for gelato. Ale was great tour guide
Viator booked a transport NOT a guide, we paid for a private tour guide . Customer service useless. Was not as advertised.
Excellent tour and driver - very knowledgeable about the area and took us to great sites for the views
The Dolomites are the closest mountains to seeing the Swiss Alps as I will get. The trip was great, the driver and car were safe, the driver also knew English well enough to explain our trip. We had enough time to eat and take a trip up the tram. Highly recommend this day trip out of Venice. They also arranged a water taxi to get us from the Hilton to the meeting point by the 9:00 am starting time.
The Dolomites are very unique and beautiful. Don’t miss the gondola ride. Our driver was fabulous and gave us a great overall view of the Dolomites.
Tour operator was difficult to communicate with and they increased the price of the tour after the cancellation period ended due to. A bike race taking place in the Dolomites. Viator was of no help when I inquired if we were obligated to pay the additional fee. Viator in general was not very helpful when I asked questions about pickup location and the additional cost. They gave me generic answers or did not answer the question asked. The morning of the tour we were told by the driver that we would be seeing the south side of the Dolomites instead of the North again due to the bike race. Because of this change I didn’t get to see the landmarks I’d hoped for. The driver was a just a driver and not a tour guide. He didn’t speak much English and spent most of the morning on the phone with his boss and or reading text. Many of the conversations with his boss were on speaker phone which I feel is inappropriate.
