If you ever get an opportunity to take this tour, do not hesitate, just book it. A truly magical experience awaits. Make sure you wear appropriate footwear and clothing bearing in mind you will be on a sled and the wind chill factor will be greater than if you are just walking around. The whole tour is well organized and even the coach trip to the venue offers spectacular scenery in comfort. Best booked via your cruise operator, this is one tour you would be foolish to miss.

We had a brilliant time on the dog sledding tour. Our group met the dogs first and had some soup and bread before taking the dogs out. There were clear instructions before beginning and driving the dog sled was easier than I thought it would be, although still tiring. The scenery was beautiful and the dogs were very friendly. Very well organised and would definitely recommend.
We had a great time! The guides were kind, the dogs were well behaved and it was enough time out sledding with the dogs to have fun. The fish soup was SO delicious! I had low expectations, but honestly, it was amazing.
Fantastic, the people who organise this trip were so attentive to everyone’s needs, the dogs were so friendly and to experience mushing for a good 90mins was absolutely brilliant

What an amazing experience!! Firstly, the most important thing with this activity is the dogs. It was stressed to us during the briefing that happy people mean happy dogs, shown how to pet the dogs, how to make sure they were safe etc. When we got to the dog farm, each dog had their own kennel, with space around it and looked well cared for. The briefing was very comprehensive and Anna made sure everyone was clear on what they needed to do. Thermal suits, gloves etc were all available, and once suited up we headed to the dog farm and met our dog team with strict instructions to cuddle and make sure we were comfortable before we headed out. The scenery around Tromso Husky was spectacular and we were soon wizzing along. When we got back to the Husky Farm we spent more time with the dogs before heading back to the base camp, and having hot drinks and soup. As well as being a great experience to do, this trip was so well organised, and ran by lovely people who obviously care a great deal about the dogs.

An amazing experience from start to finish. Everything was very well organised—from transport and the safety briefing to the mushing itself, followed by time to cuddle the dogs and warm up with soup and hot chocolate. The dogs are incredible and clearly love what they do. We had the chance to switch riders during the trip, which meant everyone could enjoy the experience, take in the stunning scenery, and get some great photos. It might seem pricey, but so is everything in Norway—don’t hesitate to book. It’s absolutely worth it for such a memorable experience.

This is something I have always wanted to do, and it did not disappoint! Amazing adventure, sweet dogs, and quite the workout! The soup at the end was amazing and the staff were nice and knowledgeable!
