Doctor Who London Tour

Description
This private Doctor Who tour takes you to important filming locations of New Doctor Who and iconic spots from the Classic show too. You'll also get to see bits of real London you'd never see otherwise. We've been Doctor Who fans since the 60's and 70's and because our tours are private, we can take you to places others don't get to!

Itinerary
Near Kennington Park we will visit the location where Rose and her family live in Doctor Who. Frequently visited by the Dr Who as Christopher Eccleston and David Tennant... watch out for the Bad Wolf posters!
Theed Street and the surrounding neighbourhood are where the iconic Remembrance of the Daleks was filmed. Follow in the footsteps of the Doctor and Ace as we see the builders yard where the Daleks hid out. The gate our heroes fled through and more. We will also see the spot where the two Dalek factions met and the Special Weapons Dalek had its big moment!
We will visit where the Doctor and Rose had their first adventure.
Famous for an iconic scene involving a Dalek invasion. Across the river from Parliament is also where the hospital is that was transported to the Moon by the Judoon.
Just off The Strand, we will visit a street with a near replica of 10 Downing Street, home of the Prime Minister. Filming often takes place here to pretend they are at the real Downing Street. This is where the Slitheen amongst others have been spotted. Stand and have a photo on the door of #10.... no-one back home will ever know it's not the real one!
The famous old square is one of the most recognisable in London but you might remember it best for its appearance in the special 50th anniversary episode which also teased an appearance by the legendary Tom Baker as The Curator.
We will pass through one of the most famous streets in Britain, famous for the various government departments, including Harry Potters Ministry of Magic. Downing Street, Horseguards and several other places.
You might have seen that Big Ben has been covered in scaffolding for 5 or 6 years.... pretty much since when the Slitheen space ship smashed into it.
Pose for photos outside The Tardis.... presuming it is there when we visit :-)
Another iconic Who location but this time involving Cybermen both from the Classic and Modern eras. Across the river you can also see The Globe which featured in New Who and from there the Talons of Weng Chiang with Tom Baker... depending on hour our legs are doing.
See spots from the 60th Anniversary shows. Where the Doctor watches the alien ship overhead before crash landing and nearby where we get that beautiful reunion with Wilf.

Claire was wonderful! She texted in advance to see what we were interested in and planned the day around us. She was incredibly knowledgeable, not just about Dr who but about all things London. We got to see things we never would have seen on our own.
Thanks so much for leaving such a nice review. Claire is lovely isn't she and she was thrilled to see that you enjoyed her tour so much.
I had the chance to take a 3 hour tour of London on the theme of Dr Who with Dewi from Tours of the UK. It was fantastic! The city tour allows you to discover important moments of the modern series and the classic series if you know a little. Dewi embellishes the visit with multiple anecdotes and surprises (such as the presence of baby Cybernauts in the middle of London: will you know how to see them?) related to the series and can also add more historical details about the history of London itself. With a beautiful finale with the Tardis. A great time!!!
Merci pour votre commentaire. Nous sommes ravis que vous ayez apprécié notre visite privée Doctor Who.
We did this in February 2023 with family to help our son celebrate his 21st birthday. Stephen was an amazing guide and made our day extra fun filled. James Bond places and Info were thrown in too being Bond lovers and whovians it was the best. We promise to do another tour on next visit.
Thanks so much for your great review Tracy! That was a great day and I'm so glad you all had fun. See you next time!
Had the most amazing day with Stephen. This was an extra special celebration for our son's 21st birthday who was blown away by this surprise. Stephen was an unbelievable tour guide, full of knowledge regarding all things Dr who, to the point that after the tour he sent us various links online to places we had visited regarding scenes that had been filmed there. He intéspersed our tour with local knowledge regarding various streets, statues and general bits regarding London and surrounding areas. What a great tour guide. Planning ahead for next year Stephen. Many many thanks.
Thanks so much for your great review. I hope you're keeping well. I'm so glad everyone enjoyed the Doctor Who Tour. If you ever come back, I've added some new places from the recent specials with David Tennant!
I booked this tour as a surprise for my nephew’s 21st Birthday - he is a huge Dr Who fan as well as a general film buff and Stephen, our tour guide, did not disappoint! Displaying his hugely in-depth knowledge of Dr Who, Stephen whisked us all over London by foot and tube train to see multiple episode or locations from many different Who eras as well as adding in general film tidbits from James Bond through to Harry Potter with a dose of London history thrown in for good measure! Our group varied enormously in age, agility and interests and Stephen managed to tick boxes for us all. A brilliant day out and we all want to come back soon to do another tour asap!
Thanks so much for your amazing review. That was such a good day and I'm so glad you all had such a good day. I often think about it too.
