Very good tour of the mezcaleria guided by ricordo very good operator and final in the mezcaleria itself gave us an explanation of the elaboration very good
Great and informative tour from start to finish. We got a full look at the artisanal mezcal-making process, from the agave fields all the way to distillation and bottling. The tasting was a highlight, with a wide variety of mezcals to try, and making our own cocktail at the end was a fun touch. The guides were warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely attentive throughout the experience. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Oaxaca.
I would highly recommend this tour. Very informative and well run. The team at the distillery are very welcoming and polite. You get to truly understand the culture process and meaning behind Mezcal and try a variety of their products. Special shout out to Maryori for being such a wonderful guide and making the experience unforgettable. Definitely something to do while in Oaxaca.
I enjoy mezcal tasting, but never knew how it was made. This was a great tour that explains the process from start to finish, and explains the different types of mezcal. A special treat was a ride into the fields to see the cultivated agave being grown and harvested. We also visited a pulqueria to taste agua de miel, pulque and tepache. I would highly recommend this tour.
Do not miss this experience, very complete, fun and very well explained by Ricardo, our guide. I highly recommend it. It was best to decant the mezcal between agaves.
I hope you have an opportunity to experience the community at this distillery. Everyone was extraordinary and the experience is a memory of a lifetime. You see the process of making Mezcal from the start to finish. Every single piece of the process is done by hand.
The tour was excellent, Maryori is a brilliant tour guide. We learnt the history of mezcal and got to try a lot of samples, the mobile barrel was really fun. Definitely recommend!
It was a very enriching experience from the cultural point of view and family coexistence. I attended with my two children, 19 and 21. Our guide made the tour very enjoyable and additionally provided data that complemented the knowledge of the process to produce both artisanal and ancestral mezcal. We walked the process and had the opportunity to ask questions and try different types of mezcals, from the sprat that is the most common to the one aged for three years in oak barrels. During the tour in the planting fields, we had a bilingual guide that complemented the information. We stopped at a house to taste mead, pulche and tepache. In conclusion, highly recommended
Excellent experience, first class service, delicious food, super interesting tour of the elaboration of the mezcal
We were given an excellent pick-up service from our hostel and taken out of town to a Mezcal distillery. The day out at the distillery and then the Agave fields was so much fun, as we were taken on an old barrell bus and provided with more than enough Mezcal for one day! This is a really great tour to pick and you definitely get a lot of bang for you buck compared to other more popular tours with tourists. Easily one of the most fun days we have had in Mexico 🇲🇽 😀
