Your tour guide on the 2-hour journey will be one of our friendly certified Florida naturalists. As your captain skillfully navigates the backwaters of the lagoon, you will experience Florida’s natural beauty while learning about conservation efforts to preserve and protect North America’s most biologically diverse estuary. Dolphins, sea turtles, and a wide variety of bird life are often seen during these tours year-round. During the warmer months you may see manatees, and in spring and summer our rookery islands are alive with bird nesting activity. Many beautiful migratory bird species winter here or stop for a bit on their long journeys

We had an awesome trip out on the water tonight. We saw lots of birds and dolphins. Patrick was very knowledgeable and friendly. Captain George was very friendly as well and let us enjoy the dolphins and birds. This was a highlight of our trip.
Kaitlyn was awesome! She knows a lot about nature and wildlife and you can just about her anything and she knows the answer. The Captain was sweet and kind. It was a pretty relax tour. Saw a lot of dolphins, the manatees must have been hiding because I didn’t catch a glimpse!
Kaitlin was very informative, friendly, and encouraged questions. Lots of dolphins and bird life. Captain handled the boat well despite pretty windy conditions. A real pleasure
The experience was awesome, me and my wife had a great time, but the tour ended early due to the weather getting bad.
Overall a fun experience. We saw a manatee as well as several dolphi s. Learned a little history of the area as well. Tour guide was very informative. Only 3 star because the captain of the boat wasn't paying attention to the channel markers and completely ran one over with the boat. These are fairly large markers, which could have been a major issue. Luckily no damage was done, and we finished the trip.
The Discovery Dolphin Boat tour from Marine Discovery Center was fantastic!! Captain Gary and Naturalist Lisa were both professional, polite, and very knowledgeable. The boat felt very safe and seats were comfortable. Lisa was a wealth of information and we learned a lot, not only about dolphins, but about birds in the area and things that are currently threatening the eco-system. Great price for this 2 hour experience. Recommend booking. P.S. - we didn't see any manatee, saw tons of birds and lots of dolphins! Sunset tour, July 10.
Highlight of my family's trip to Daytona Beach area! Saw tons of dolphins and manatees. Kids loved it. Guide was knowledgeable and fun.
Great time both captain and the nature guide were amazing great sense of humor, knowledgeable of what they were doing and seemed to really love and enjoy what they did. Pretty good price as well for what we got to experience and the time we had. We did see lots of dolphins and a few manatees among other things.
Captain George and Guide Patrick were great. Patrick is very knowledgeable. The boat ride was nice and we did see dolphins! Finding the public dock where we departed took an effort. We went to the Discovery Center first, then got better directions at the Bait Shop. Fortunately we left extra time to get to our tour.
We had a great experience. Lots of dolphins and birds and the crew was very pleasant and informative.
