A great day in Saigon

Terri and his driver met us at our hotel. He discussed our itinerary and we set off. First stop was a beautiful park. We would never have discovered this as it was a bit of a drive out of the city centre. It was followed by many wonderful sights and museums and Terri was very informative and had good English. Our day was split with a lovely lunch in a small restaurant. An exhausting day, but most enjoyable and a great way to see the best of this city.

5 stars for our guide, Terry!

Having been contacted the evening before by Terry, to confirm our start time, he met us in the hotel lobby and introduced us to our driver, who had provided water bottles in the car for us. After discussing both his and our ideas for the day, we set off, chatting with our informative guide on the way. Every stop was perfect and he also checked any dietary requirements for our included lunch stop. After a few visits around the city, including the wonderful and moving War Museum (during which Terry gave us a full hour to check it out by ourselves) he took us to a fantastic family run restaurant for a glorious lunch! A few more great stops after lunch and then a drop off back at the hotel, with the feeling that we’d certainly learnt a lot about this fascinating city.

Private tour of Saigon

We (family of 4) booked a 1 day private tour with Henry prior to arriving in Saigon bc we had very limited time and had a specific area that we wanted to visit & also avoid other popular touristy attractions for other reasons. Henry was extremely accommodating and arranged for Mr. Lee to show us around the city, some that were off the beaten path. Mr. Lee was punctual, spoke very good English, very professional and knowledgeable and shared some personal experiences/insights re. the war and that his family endured. Oh, and he has a great sense of humor which we greatly appreciated! We all came away with a greater understanding of the war, the struggles and a diff point of view of the conflict. We enjoyed the tour greatly, learned a lot about the country and the people. We highly recommend Saigon Private Tour Guide!

The Perfect Guide for a Memorable Layover in Ho Chi Minh City

I had 10 hour layover at Ho chi Minh. Lee was not available but he arranged my tour with Linh, she proved to be an extraordinary guide, offering not just a tour, but a deep dive into the heart and soul of Ho Chi Minh City. Linh's choice of local spots, was a highlight. It was a perfect blend of local flavors that left me craving for more. Beyond the food and drinks, it was Linh's personal touch and deep knowledge of the city that set this tour apart. She navigated the bustling streets with ease, introducing me to places and experiences I would never have found on my own. For anyone visiting Ho Chi Minh City, I wholeheartedly recommend Linh as a tour guide. Her professionalism, and expertise make her an invaluable companion for exploring this vibrant city. Thank you, Linh, for an unforgettable day in Saigon!
