I was exited to do this since it’s my first time in Costa Rica and when I searched for one person availability it I picked the time that showed was available. The next day came and I’m waiting on the pickup point for near almost half an hour because I’m thinking maybe they are a bit late but I decided to call and they said they don’t have availability for one person… when it had been confirmed to me already. I was highly upset because it ruined my plans and I could have went looking for something else had I known this prior to waiting at the pickup point for 30 minutes.
The staff was very professional from coordinating pick up, to guiding us on trails and helping when people got stuck! The beach spots they took us were beautiful and the ATVs were a lot of fun! 5 star recommend!
Signed up for this ATV tour based on a wonderful Reddit review and it did not disappoint! The length was perfect, staff was exceptionally friendly, and the route was a breath of fresh air. It was the perfect escape from the crowds of Tamarindo, I would 100% recommend this tour. My fiancé and I were the only ones on our excursion - it felt romantic and intentional. Thank you!!!

Our family had an amazing day exploring the secret beaches near Tamarindo on ATVs. The rides themselves were just as exciting as the beach stops — cruising along the back roads, kicking up dust, and weaving through the countryside was half the fun. We visited three beaches, each with its own vibe. The first and third had spots to grab a cold drink (bring cash!), and the second beach was a stunning hidden cove with no amenities — totally worth the stop for the views alone. A couple of tips: bring plenty of water and a neck gaiter, because it gets hot and very dusty. These two things made a huge difference for us. The only downside was that the tour office didn’t have a sink to wash up after the ride. After getting absolutely covered in dust, we ended up using our drinking water to clean our hands and faces, which was a bit of a bummer. But honestly, the adventure itself was so good that it still deserves a full five stars. Overall, this ATV tour is an exciting, memorable way to explore Tamarindo’s hidden beaches, and our whole family loved it.
Secret beaches are advertised but we were taken to only ONE beach. I asked our escort Juan if we were going to more than one beach and he said yes...but we went to ONE. A long dusty ride on rugged side steets to one beach then ride back. Worth half the price than what you pay. Skip this one.

We would like to clarify that your group arrived late to the tour, which resulted in a delayed start. Additionally, during the excursion, our guide explained that spending more time at the first beach would limit the opportunity to visit additional beaches within the scheduled timeframe. Your group chose to stay approximately 25 minutes at the first stop, and combined with the late start, this unfortunately did not leave enough time to continue to other locations. We always aim to visit multiple beaches as advertised; however, this depends on staying on schedule and managing time at each stop We appreciate your feedback and will continue working on improving communication so expectations are clear for all guests. We had a great time! Our guide was very attentive and friendly. The ride was fun and the beaches were beautiful!
The experience was great. I was skeptical at first but the ATV tour came highly recommended by friends and I’m glad we did it! Worth the cost, good duration, good size group, beautiful beaches, and our guide was nice. The reason for my 3 stars is because we had originally booked the trip for 10am. We got a called that we had to reschedule for 8am. Got up early, got ready, received a test it was now at 9am. Driver didn’t show up until 9:40am. Also the ATV need maintenance. Brakes weren’t great, one broke down on the way, another the handle bar weren’t aligned properly, another was smoking with a smell of burnt plastic and at every stop we were told to keep them running, idle for 20min + each time. Not great in such a beautiful environment. This excursion is dusty, which is fine, but the further at the back you are the dustier it is. They should really rotate the line and not give preference to some riders. All and all, ATVs, well worth it.

Great time on the ATV seeing and swimming at some beautiful beaches. Got to see a family of howler monkeys up close also
