Old San Juan is the name by which the historic district of San Juan de Puerto Rico is known. It is located on the Isleta de San Juan which is connected to the main island of Puerto Rico by bridges.

Castillo San Felipe del Morro (also known as “El Morro”), perhaps the most iconic fortification built by the Spanish in the Americas, covers a 140 foot-high promontory at the entrance to the Bay of San Juan. This fortress consists of 6 levels facing the Atlantic Ocean, all of which were designed to create a devastating artillery fire over enemy ships. By the time of its completion around 1790, it had the reputation of being unconquerable and was the most feared of all the Spanish colonial fortifications.

Amazing Tour old San Juan Puerto Rico vibes !
I had a really fun time with Royal Adventures Puerto Rico. The experience itself is definitely unique—you get to explore areas like Old San Juan, Isla Verde, and Piñones while riding in a Can-Am/UTV, which makes it way more exciting than a regular tour. The best part was the vibe and the views. You can stop for pictures, enjoy the beach, and even check out local spots along the way. Some guides are super friendly and knowledgeable, and they really make the experience better. Many people say it’s one of the most memorable activities on their trip.
Saw lots of cool sites and had a great driver Michael. I wish we knew that there is an office in the hotel we met at and there is a 50$ surprise to buy insurance at the desk. Not a good way to start.
The tour guide was late. He even picked up the wrong group instead of us. If I did not text him, he would have gone with the wrong group. The tour started late and was definitely not what we paid for. The tour guide was even going to wrong direction as we paid for an island tour and not a beach tour. We could have just taken a taxi if we wanted to go to the beach. I would not recommend this tour. The price was ridiculous for what we got. A total rip-off. The tour is just a scam.
Thank you for your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations, as this is not the level of service we aim to provide. We take punctuality and organization very seriously, and it is concerning to hear about the confusion during pickup. We are currently reviewing this situation with our team to ensure that this type of mistake does not happen again. Regarding the tour experience, our intention is always to deliver exactly what is advertised. If there was any deviation from the planned itinerary, we sincerely apologize, as that is not our standard. Your comments about the route and overall experience are being taken seriously and will be addressed internally. We also want to clarify that our tours are not scams, and we work hard to provide value and memorable experiences to all our guests. However, we understand your frustration and regret that we fell short in your case. Please feel free to contact us directly so we can further review your booking and work toward a resolution.
The tour guide was late and did not meet us in the lobby of the hotel. Then he surprised us with a waiver form that was not emailed ahead of time and evidently included a surprise charge for $50 insurance. Then he said his parking pass was stolen and he could not leave the garage. We waited in the hot stuffy parking garage with no end in sight before my daughter complained she felt faint and we had enough and left. There was no support from the tour company and when I told him I was unsatisfied he accused me of discriminatory language (lol). Stay away at all costs.
We’re sorry to hear about your experience, but we must respectfully clarify several points. Our company maintains zero tolerance for any form of discrimination, and we take such accusations very seriously. For transparency, parts of the interaction were recorded on camera, and these records do not support the claims made. Regarding the concerns raised: The insurance fee of $50 USD is clearly stated in advance under “What’s Included and What’s Not Included” in the booking details. The waiver form is a standard safety requirement for all participants. The situation regarding parking was communicated as it occurred, and we made efforts to manage the delay. From our perspective, the issues described stem from a misunderstanding and refusal to proceed under the agreed terms, particularly the insurance requirement. We always strive to provide a professional and respectful experience, and we stand by our team and policies. Thank you for your feedback.
We paid $350 essentially for a drive through San Juan in a Can Am. We made two stops, one in front of the “I love PR” sign for a photo and once at the TMobile venue. We had no historical or informational commentary. I see others drove on a beach. Our driver pointed at one beach when we passed. We were expressly told to wait in the lobby of the Double Tree hotel for a noon tour. No one showed. I sent two emails and twice left messages at the number provided with no response. At 12:30 someone called and said we were in the wrong place, which we were not. We finally got started 45 minutes late but were delivered back to the hotel at two, which meant our “tour” was 1 hour 15 minutes, not 2 hours because we followed their instructions. While we enjoyed the Can Am experience and the driver was a nice guy, we in no way received what was advertised. We nothing about anything we saw, so it should be advertised as a drive not a guided tour.
Thank you for your feedback. We want you to know that we take your experience very seriously and have thoroughly investigated this situation. After reviewing your case, we can confirm that a refund ticket was issued to address the concerns you raised. We sincerely apologize that the tour did not meet your expectations, particularly regarding the delay, the lack of guided commentary, and the overall duration of the experience. Your comments are extremely valuable and have been shared with our team so we can improve both our communication and the quality of our tours moving forward. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the Can-Am ride and found the driver to be pleasant, but we fully recognize that the experience as a whole did not align with what was advertised. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention.

This tour was honestly one of the highlights of our trip to Puerto Rico. Riding through Old San Juan on a Can-Am was such a fun and unique way to see the city. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel comfortable the entire time. You can tell they truly care about giving you a great experience. I would 100% do this again

It’s great to know that your guide made the night both exciting and safe. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you back for another unforgettable adventure soon!
The experience was ok. The guild showed up about 30 mins after the start time but it still lasted the two hours. The driver drove us around but did not stop and explain what anything was. We asked him about a statue in town and he did not know who it was. I would not go again.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We appreciate your feedback and are sorry to hear that the tour did not fully meet your expectations. While the guide arrived approximately 30 minutes after the scheduled start time, we ensured that the tour still lasted the full two hours as promised. That said, we sincerely apologize if the level of explanation and engagement during the drive was not what you were expecting. Providing informative and engaging commentary is something we strive for, and your comments help us identify where improvements are needed. We will be reviewing this feedback with our team to ensure our guides are better prepared to share historical and local information throughout the tour. We regret that this experience has left you feeling that you would not return, and we appreciate your honesty as it helps us improve for future guests. Thank you again for your feedback.
So the guy ask for a deposit of $90 through cashapp I sent it to him and told me I’ll get it back tomorrow morning I called he told me that he can give me the cash in person if I show up to his office I agreed I do inform him that I have to catch a flight back to Massachusetts that’s where I stay and I told him my flight is at 11pm I need to drop my rental off had me waiting in a churches chicken parking lot for 3 hours knowing I’m not from San Juan made me late for my flight and on the tour the guy that was supposed to give me a tour was on his phone and vaping in the utv next to my pregnant girlfriend and I was supposed to drive the utv and never did the guy look confused and drop me off at the t mobile district and said he’ll be back in 30 minutes and I was waiting for atleast 48 minutes and he never let me drive the utv I keep calling the guy I keep texting him leaving me on “delivered” very unprofessional I called his number “+1 (747) 474-5531” still no response from him
We do not drop off customers at locations other than the designated spot. We pick you up at the hotel and return you to the hotel. Regarding the $90.00, the correct amount is $45.00, which is the fee required to obtain the insurance in case you do not already have coverage. If you start your tour late, please do not place the responsibility on us. Also, for safety reasons, pregnant women are not allowed to drive, and this information was clearly stated before the tour was booked through the third-party company.
