A massive thank you to Reaze!

This was a fantastic day to say the least! We had the pleasure of meeting Reaze who was our driver for the day. He took us to loads of wonderful places and informed us all about the history along the way! We started off at Kuanfu Black Tea Factory which was a brilliant start to the trip! The black tea and green tea were so good that we decided to get the whole tea set to take home with us! Then we visited the Aapravasi Ghat World Heritage site and the Slavery Museum which was super interesting. This was a great introduction to Mauritius and if you’re into history this is definitely for you! Reaze then took us into Port Louis where we visited the Citadel Fort. The views were breathtaking from the top. Looking down at the city and seeing the surrounding mountains was dreamy! After, we walked around the city markets that were selling all sorts of delicious foods and goods! I would definitely recommend getting an roti whilst you’re there, they’re so good! Reaze let us walk around for as long as we liked which was lovely as we didn't feel rushed and it gave us the chance to really appreciate the beauty of Mauritius. We really enjoyed walking around the Le Caudan waterfront! The next stop was Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Botanical Gardens which was my favorite place of all! The gardens were stunning and I loved every second walking around. I could’ve stayed there for hours! They even had deers and tortoises there which were super cute! Lastly, we finished off by seeing the famous Notre-Dame Auxiliatrice De Cap Malhheureux. This church was so beautiful, set overlooking the sea which was the perfect way to end the tour! I would recommend booking this experience!

No call/ No show tour operator

Tour operator was a no call/no show! Terrible way to start my vacation. So glad I was able to find an alternative on short notice. Vacation could have been ruined!
