Our tour with Mohaed starting at 9.00am was fantastic. We started by visiting Al-Qurain Martyrs Museum a site of the Iraqi invasion of 1991. Subsequently we visited some water towers before heading to Tareo Rajab Museum which held a collection of personal acquisitions including a Crusader display, artworks by David Roberts from 18th century and numerous other intriguing exhibits. Next it was to the Tareq Rajab Museum of Islamic Calligraphy which again was fascinating. We then ventured out along one of the long bridges to catch a short harbour cruise allowing us to get photos of Kuwait from the harbour before heading to a nearby beachside tower to get more photos looking down to the landscape surrounds. Next to the fish markets before heading to The Avenues which must be the largest modern shopping complex in the world. To end our day of touring we then had a great meal before heading back to our hotel after 8.00pm. We had such a great day that will never be forgotten.
A comprehensive sightseeing tour of Kuwait City, very nice and competent tour guide. Highly recommended.
