About 170 km away from the - Zona Sul - of Rio, I want to guide you to discover Arraial do Cabo. The town is located in the - Lake Region - and is known as - the Caribbean of Brazil - for the crystal clear waters of its sea. It recently saw its Pontal beach in Atalaia awarded as one of the most beautiful in the world. To demonstrate this, I limit myself to quoting the comment that Amerigo Vespucci wrote when he arrived in this region: "if an earthly paradise exists in the world, it must undoubtedly not be very far from these places". I propose a fantastic boat tour during which we will stop to get to know the best points of this paradise, which you really can't miss when coming on holiday to Rio de Janeiro! Attention: the transfer from Rio de Janeiro to Arraial do Cabo will be made by private car, while the boat tour is shared with other tourists. The boat has a capacity of approximately 100 people and is equipped with toilets and a bar with a small restaurant service.

This splendid 4-hour boat tour includes the visit and the stay in two of the most famous beaches (Ilha do Farol and Prainhas do Pontal de Atalaia) and some stops in the most suggestive and panoramic points. You can choose to have lunch before the boat tour or at the end of the tour (around 17:30)

So I was worried about one review however I’m going to give you the truth the transportation is private 2 hrs and 15 mins if you’re booked in Copacabana the boat is not private with all that said it was wonderful our driver Marcello was absolutely wonderful. He was very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. This tour is a great to get away from Copacabana and relax 😌
The best beaches are in Arraial do Cabo. The water is colder. But the beaches are large and with plenty of space for all tourists.
