We leave Oviedo by 8 seater van, bluntly and directly to the lakes of Covadonga, Enol and Ercina, Sanctuary of Covadonga and Cangas de Onís. The lakes make up one of the most famous and most visited enclaves within the Picos de Europa National Park. A place full of charm and history that will allow us to know the origin of the Gamoneu Cheese, the traditional way of taking advantage of pastures and enjoy these frigid landscapes modeled by ice. In this activity: You will visit Lakes and Covadonga in a unique and DIRECT way. You will not transfer, stop or queue to the Lakes and you will have first-hand information to enjoy your visit without worry. The best: The journey with the guide in a group of up to 8 people with which you will access the Picos de Europa National Park directly

Route of the Reconquista and surroundings of the natural cave of the Sanctuary of Covadonga where we will take an interpretive walk
We will make a very simple walk through the most spectacular surroundings of the Lakes of Covadonga (Picos de Europa) making a smooth route suitable for all ages in which we will know closely the Enol and Ercina Lakes, the Buferrera mines, a cabin of Shepherds and as well as the origin and history of this Natural Monument.
We will cross Cangas de Onís where the Roman Bridge over the Sella River is located and we will stop to eat freely.

The package includes transportation and entrance to the park. All places you will visit are free of charge, so is walking around. It's nice to be in a small group but for that price I almost expected a privare tour.

Very good!! The most I have enjoyed the excursions that I participated in in Asturias.I was surprised by the beauty of Lagos de Covadonga and also liked the visit to the Basilica of the Virgin of Covadonga. We also had enough time to have lunch and walk freely in Cangas de Onís.

don't trust viator when they said English tour guide is available. I asked a few time with the Viator support who confirm English is available but when I join the tour, the tour guide only speak Spanish.

Divine the Sanctuary of Covadonga, framed by the peaks of Europe,in an area called Cangas de Onis.Place of collection,very beautiful to enter the cave where the Virgin appeared, called La Santina, with different versions referring to her appearance
The site is very nice and pleasant however the guide otherwise very kind had to speak English which was not the case because he spoke only Spanish despite the confirmation of our tickets in English. This is to say that it is possible that this will happen and that it is regrettable and not very professional for the organizer. So not disappointed by the site but much by the organizer.

Visiting the pico of Europe and glacial lakes allowed us to have a more complete and varied view of Asturias. beautiful landscapes and the care with which they are kept surprised us a lot. The visit to the sanctuary is much less interesting, we found ourselves in an environment imbued only with religiosity, instead the small church in the cave as a testimony of the victory over Muslims in the eighth century is very impressive.
It was a unique day that we will remember forever. The tour is very complete, the comments of the guide very timely and interesting, all punctual and enjoyable. We recommend 100%
