We had an amazing time at our private cooking class. Giovanna's property was beautiful. The lunch was delicious. It was a memorable experience. Just what we were looking for on our honeymoon! Truly authentic experience!
Was an authentic experience with a lovely Italian family. The food was delicious! We ate at a kitchen table with husband and daughter.
Giovanella made this a wonderful experience. She combines helpful cooking techniques with interesting references to Apulian culture. Most important, the food was excellent!! She was accommodating to food allergies and fun to cook with. Her assistants were also wonderful. Give my highest recommendation!
It was hard to find the place and because we got a message that we should not be late, so we were in that address received exactly the right time. We drove to the house in that address, but none was waiting there and none came out of that house. We stayed there for some minutes but thought that we are in wrong place, so we went to drive around in case we are in wrong address, and we returned to the same address, but we thought that we have to have a wrong infotmation about pickup point, because there was no one. So we left and we did not have that experience at all. It was quite big amount for us, and we were sad because one night before also wine tasting was cancelled as they said that is bad weather. So our experiences did not go well.

To say this was a highlight of our trip to Apulia was an understatement. We loved the chance to learn some new cooking techniques but the real gift was dining with Mariuccia and her family on their patio, enjoying local wine and great conversation. If I could rank this higher than 5 stars I would!
Brilliant host and typical Italian food. She even gave us a free lift back to Martina Franca with a stop to see Locorotondo at night
Mariuccia and her lovely family were great hosts! We had an extraordinary experience with them by being part of their day to day life for a couple of hours: Mariuccia taught us how to prepare two types of pasta fresca (one, of course, being the famous orecchiette); meanwhile the sugo was getting ready and the pasta was resting, we went to the garden with Vincenzo to pick some fruit to have after lunch (even though we couldn't resist not enjoying some figs and plums on the spot :), we then sat at the table in the yard all together, enjoyed the food (lots of it! Burratine, mozzarella, zucchini sott'olio, carciofi, focaccia, orecchiette al sugo di agnello, limoncello fatto da Vincenzo, ...) and had a chat about life, had fun and laughed together.
