Dine With a Bordeaux Local in a Chartrons / Jardin Public Home

Description
Being a transplanted New Yorker with a French twist, bi-lingual and bi-cultural, a foodie, cook and world traveler, I feel I add another dimension to your in-home dining experience. Bordeaux is my new home and I love sharing it with visitors. Having a night out from a restaurant is always a nice change when one is traveling.

We had the pleasure of dining with Kim. It was a small, intimate gathering in her home which made the entire experience extra special. The dinner was traditional French cuisine using the freshest ingredients and it was all prepared by Kim.
Thank you Thank you. Loved meeting you and delighted you enjoyed the evening.
The food was really good. Kim had stories and recommendations based on her years in France. We were very lucky to meet someone like her.
A truly lovely evening! Kim graciously invited us into her very comfortable home and provided insights on visiting Bordeaux as well as a plentiful dinner! We learned of her background, of how she has made Bordeaux her home to where to purchase from the best selections of wine in each area of the city. Kim and her cat put us at ease in a relaxed atmosphere. The four course meal featuring fresh locally sourced ingredients of duck and beautiful vegetables paired with a really fine wine was the Coup de grace!
Fabulous four course dinner, full of local products, served with a delightful white wine. Kim ensured it was a very convivial evening.
The experience with Kim was 5-star from the moment we booked till we left her home last night. She communicated with us immediately upon booking to let us know the typical menu. As my husband does not eat meat, she confirmed back that she would prepare a fish dinner. We were greeted with a glass of wine and appetizer platter (hummus, crackers, olives, goat cheese & walnut on toast) and had a delightful chat as we got to know each other a little. We then moved to the dining table where Kim served salmon trout and rosemary roasted potatoes and of course more wine. The next course was a fresh tomato salad and a selection of cheeses. This was followed by a delicious peach dessert. The conversation was lively and interesting, and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Kim is a world traveller and also gave us lots of tips for here in Bordeaux and abroad. If you have a chance for a meal with Kim, you will not go wrong and have some amazing memories! Thank you again, Kim!!
Dining with Kim was a lovely experience. The food as well as the company was outstanding. She had a wealth of knowledge about visiting Bordeaux that she generously shared. We had a fantastic evening, I would highly recommend it!
Hi there, Thank you so much for your glowing review. I am so delighted you enjoyed the evening. I looked at the restaurant website, most impressive. Best of luck for the re-opening, re-creating, re-newing. Enjoy the rest of your trip. Best, Kim
BOOK an evening with Kim! She is an amazing lady and provides a fun filled night with great food. It's like spending an evening with an old friend. Kim greeted me with wine and charcuterie. Next, we entered the kitchen and she cooked an amazing duck breast. We drank wine, chatted and just enjoyed the evening. One of her German AirBnd guests joined us after dinner for a drink. I would highly recommend spending an afternoon or evening with Kim. She a lovely person who is happy to share her home and knowledge of life in Bordeaux.
