Our guide Giorgi was a great conversationalist and this is also a cost effective way, especially with two or more people, to get to both monuments, as a Bolt or Taxi will easily run you 50-60 usd to get to Didgori.
We had a great time with Georgi, he was very friendly and patient at pick-up. He was knowledgeable and shared both information at destination and about sites along the way, as well as Georgian knowledge. We got to spend as much time as we wanted at each stop (Didgori Battle Memorial and Chronicles of Georgia). Georgi was a great driver and the car was nice and had ac, and he gave us some good advice for the rest of our trip. All to all this was a great way to start off our first visit to Georgia!
We had an absolute great time ! Everything went smoothly and the views were great, we took amazing pictures on the way. Thank you !
I really enjoyed this tour! The guide was so friendly and easy to talk to, and he did a great job explaining the history. He was also happy to take photos for me throughout the tour, which I really appreciated. It was a fun and relaxed experience, and I definitely recommend it if you’re visiting Tbilisi!
The experience with Toko was great, he is a friendly and knowledgeable Georgian with a good command over English. He communicated with me through Whatsapp which made it convenient, and was on time. He picked us up in his clean car and was very professional. We went to the Chronicles of Georgia which was quite amazing. He also took us through a less traversed route to the Didigori memorial where we were the only ones there but the expanse of this monument was so spectacular that we really enjoyed this trip. Highly recommended this booking.
What a fantastic guide and a wonderful place to see and experience. Loved this tour and recommend it to anyone
Ira is an exceptional guide who turned a simple tour of the Chronicles of Georgia and the Didgori Battle Memorial into a truly profound experience. From the moment we started, it was clear that his knowledge of Georgian history is both vast and deeply personal. What really sets Ira apart is his genuine attentiveness. He is a patient and thoughtful listener who welcomed every single question I had, no matter how specific. Instead of giving scripted answers, he engaged in real conversation, ensuring I felt fully immersed in the culture and the cuisine he spoke so highly of. Even when the weather wasn’t the best, his professionalism never wavered. He was incredibly quick to adapt and provided alternatives. Beyond his expertise, Ira’s warmth and passion are what made the day so memorable. He goes out of his way to make sure his guests are well-informed, often sharing those small, beautiful details about local life that you simply won't find in any guidebook. If you want a guide who is professional yet feels like a knowledgeable friend showing you their home, Ira is the person to book. He truly turned a foggy day into the absolute highlight of my trip to Georgia.
Thanks for the feedback, it means a lot for us.
