Desert safari adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel or a designated meeting point in Doha or a nearby city. After picked up, you will embark on a journey to the desert, which can take anywhere from 50 minutes to an hour, depending on your starting point from there we will start our mesmerizing and adventurous journey of famous Qatar desert.
Here you'll have the chance to experience a short camel ride or long camel ride at an additional cost. Camels are an integral part of desert life and culture, and this is your opportunity to connect with them and take in the vast desert views from a different perspective. & enjoy a complimentary tea/coffee.
Once you reach the desert, the real adventure begins. Skilled and experienced drivers take you on a thrilling dune bashing ride in 4x4 vehicles. These vehicles are equipped to navigate the challenging desert terrain, and the ride involves exhilarating maneuvers, including driving up and down sand dunes. This part of the safari provides an adrenaline rush and an opportunity for some incredible photos. During the journey, we make a stop to witness a breathtaking view of the Inland Sea, a natural border with Saudi Arabia. Gul, our guide, speaks English very well. He not only drove us but also told us a lot about his life in Qatar. Dune bashing was a special experience: Gul raced up the dunes and turned at the most incredible spots to let the car drift down. He drove very safely. Camel riding on friendly camels was also included. We saw many beautiful places with views of the sea and in the other direction from Gul. Sandboarding was great; Gul even waxed the board. We were also able to enjoy the sunset from a great viewpoint. Gul provided us with a wonderful, eventful afternoon and evening.
It was a great experience for the whole family that will stay with us for a long time. Our driver Gulraiz was very friendly, was able to answer all our questions informatively and understandably and was super responsive to our wishes. The pick up at the port was on time and we had a lot of fun dune-bashing, camel ride and sandboarding. A clear recommendation on our part.
