Itinerary
Your first stop is in Eyam, a village that faced unimaginable adversity when the plague broke out here in 1666. Moved by the story of solidarity and strength, you travel onwards to Bakewell.
Not only is this town delicious to look at, but it’s also the home of one of England’s most famous desserts, the Bakewell Pudding.
With life feeling a bit sweeter now, you venture to Monsal Head. There’s an old rail line viaduct that emerges from green hills to create a unique vista. It’s a gorgeous structure with an impressive history.
We’ve got another treat for you, a stop in Castleton. This quaint old town attracts travellers from all over the world for its traditional English charm. You can wander the streets, enjoy a beautiful view up a valley, and learn its history at an insightful information centre.
You will have a chance to go on an optional visit to the Peak’s Cavern. This cave has an outrageous nickname, the largest natural entrance, used to be a hideout for robbers and now it sometimes acts as a concert venue.

Our first experience with Rabbies was excellent. Our driver Mike made our day. Professional, patient, personable & knew his subject well. The day had whistle-stops across the Peaks district, finishing in Castleton where we took the option of the cavern tour (highly recommended).
Everything was great. Next time we will go with Rabbie's again.
Darren was a good & entertaining tour guide.
Fantastic experience and Darren was a font of all knowledge. We enjoyed every minute.
A lovely interesting, scenic and varied day out in the Peak District. Unfortunately we didn’t get to see the viaduct as it was incredible foggy when we were passing by it.
Brilliant, few laughs lots of history and amazing sites. Steve was a very knowledgeable guide/driver, good humoured and patient. All in all a great day.
Wonderful English countryside and quintessential Derbyshire villages of the Peak District. We even discovered some off-tourist trap, walking tracks to escape the inevitable bustle. Our guide, Darren was knowledgeable and delivered his commentary with enthusiasm, warmth and humour. A brilliant experience well worth our time and money!
Pete did a great job in explaining the history around the area. We stopped at Eyam, Bakewell and Castleton and there were plenty of times to explore.
The guide gave more information that I expected! He talked about the history of Manchester during the drive up to the first stop, and talked about the history of the areas and answered questions in each of the stops. Also showed us a couple of extra places of interest.
Our tour guide, Darren was humorous and friendly. He gave us all the up to date news and information about the places we visited! There was a lot of freedom in what we wanted to do, only restriction was time frame. Super enjoyed my time and would really recommend for a cool day trip!
