Enjoyed the history of the trains and the inventory that was available for us to see!
The trolly ride was so good. The guide was funny and full of fun facts. The train was disappointing. The ride was short and nothing of real interest was shared. At the destination I feel they could have shared more about the development from steam engine to today’s trains. Also there must be some interesting train stories to share. I would tell others to skip the train ride and pay only for the trolly.
Excellent tour taking me back to childhood in England train spotting! Pleasant train station cafe with delicious home made chicken salad.
This is a good first thing to do in chattanooga because we learned so many things we would have loved to do but it was our last day!!! It was good but could have been better. Didn’t get to stop during trolley ride anywhere. The trolley was so loud we couldn’t hear the driver. I know he knew alot but just couldn’t hear him. Overall it was a good experience. Would do it again.
It was great!!! Loved the scenery as we peddled through the mountain. The tunnel was fun and interesting.
Trolly not comfortable. Air conditioner broke. Driver very knowledgeable Glad we took the trip since we’ve never been here before.
Excellent tour! I learned so much about this city’s origin and history. The trolley guide and trains conductor were both wonderful. Informative & FUN!
Excellent tour and guide. Really felt I was back in England as a child riding the train and eating lunch in the station cafe. Delicious chicken salad. fascinating stop at the station where the engine turned around.
We waited at the designated place at 10:30 along with another couple. After 10:35, started calling. First was automated call response, second call a person answered and said he would contact driver. Response was the driver thought he had the day off. Tour canceled. We are patiently waiting for our refunds. Any help getting refund will be appreciated.
Yes. We are sorry for your disappointment and completely understand. Once we found out that the driver was not there and realized that there was no way to get a driver there in time to do the tour we had to cancel. We immediately processed refunds. Unfortunately banks don't process refunds in real time.
Pay attention to the narrative, absolutely 5 stars! If you dont know a little about American History, and the Civil War, you may not be able to keep up. Read a little before you take the trip on the Trolley! So much knowledge from one man! It was awesome and any negative reviews are.probably from someone who brought a little kid who couldnt sit still...or someone from another country who doesnt understand what happened in the city of Chattanooga! It would be a must a see if you want to know some history about the city and the leaders. The train ride was a little disappointing. Condutor bashing the prior people before us because they wouldn't get off the train right away to see the turn around, then he was talking when we were trying to.listen to the narrative, on top we had kids that were no doubt having a good time as they were screaming and yelling, while parents did nothing in another seat. So, train ride is a hit or miss, no doubt while it's traveling but food was good at the deli at the train station and the young narrator did a great job when we stopped with narration at the turn around and at the "museum part." So that's my perspective...you may have a different one, but I would probably do it again, as so much knowledge was shared on the trolley.
