The Mojave Desert is the smallest of the four major deserts in North America, covering parts of California, Nevada, Utah, and Arizona. It's known for being the most arid in the region, with little rain in the summer, and average high temperatures of over 100 °F (38 °C) in the summer. The desert also has the lowest point in the United States, Badwater Basin in Death Valley, which is 282 feet below sea level, while the Panamint Mountains rise to over 11,000 feet above sea level.
Pahrump is a town in Nevada named after the indigenous name * Pah-Rimpi*, which means "Water Rock". The name refers to the many artesian wells in the valley. Pahrump is located in the Mojave Desert valley, west of Las Vegas, and is the population center of Nye County.

Pickup Locations & Times
This Is a small-group tour and uses either a 15-seat passenger van or a 7-seat minivan, depending on the group size on the day of the tour. Hotel pick-ups are from the Las Vegas Strip and Fremont Street areas. You will receive an email with all the information you need 24 hours before the tour date. The hotel pickup times will be between 6 am and 6:30 am.

This would have been amazing had our "tour guide" shared any information about the area with us. The landscape is beautiful but to know what we were looking at, had to read the information boards posted at each site. There was no narration or conversation at all during this 10 hour day, just took us to the place and told us when to return.

Amazing experience 85 meters below sea level. A must see in your life. Water consumption is the key. Watch the movie Zabriskie Point either before or after your trip.
