This is full days excursion, mid morning pickup and a very late drop off. The transport is comfortable with good air conditioning and has lots of water, sodas and snacks onboard. Our guide for the day was Jeff, another fantastic guide and driver, he was also really knowledgeable about Death Valley. It takes about 2 hours to get to the outskirts of the park, stopping at gas stations to use the restrooms. We went to the visitor centre where we found out more information about the valley and had a short video. We visited different points throughout the park for photo opportunities, the Inn at Death Valley which is a fantastic hotel in the middle of an oasis, and the shops at Furnace creek. We traveled to Dante’s point for the star gazing. We stayed for a while taking shots of the sky, it was windy and the temperature turned cooler going down to 66 degrees from 112 during the day. The journey home took about 3 hours and was after midnight when we returned to Vegas. Death Valley is amazing, beautiful scenery and a beautiful sky full of stars. We didn’t see the Milky Way but it didn’t spoil the trip. It’s a pity we didn’t see Dante’s point in the day light as the photos on the net are out of this world.
This was such a cool way to see Death Valley and our guide Corey clearly cared about both the park and her tour. She made her tour a very hospitable oasis in an inhospitable place!
This was such a great way to see Death Valley at different times of day. Our guide Corey was fabulous and made sure that we enjoyed the park as much as she does!
Jeff was the guide for my Death Valley tour. He was AWESOME!!! He was knowledgeable and fun. The Death Valley stargazing tour is a long day but 1000% worth it! Highly recommend, 100000/10.
OMG I wish I could rate higher. Fabulous! Guide, Amber, is so knowledgeable and fun. The scenery is great, the tips are awesome, Max Tours treats you as valuable customers. Snacks were muffins, bananas, various chips, fruit snacks. Drinks were water, various sodas, all ice cold. I have been on tours with Max Tours and they are GREAT!! My guides have been spectacular!!
This was the perfect day trip from Vegas! Scott was a wonderful guide who drove very safely and the tour was well thought out. They provided unlimited water which was needed in the desert heat. We also had a dinner stop at the Ranch at Death Valley which had plenty of food options and a great general store for souvenirs.
By far the best tour I’ve ever been on. Our guide, Corey, was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely funny. Her themed music choices added such a fun and immersive touch, and truly enhanced the entire experience. She went above and beyond by sharing extra insights beyond the standard tour information. We had an amazing time and would absolutely book another tour again in the future!
Loved this tour! Death Valley national park is huge, and we covered quite a few viewpoints in the day. Our tour guide, Carl, was very knowledgeable and fun. He made sure we had ample time at each viewpoint. The main event, stargazing in the desert, was mesmerizing. Highly recommend!
It was awesome trip . Jeff is great , on time and organized . Thanks to him for making sure we’re safe and hydrated . He made sure we saw the sunset and it was so beautiful especially the reflections . Star gazing was great
This tour was amazing! Even though it ended up being cloudy and we didn’t get to see the stars everything was just great! Don’t let the time scare you because the day actually went by fast there were so many stops and things to see. Elaine was an incredible tour guide. She took great care of us and was very knowledgeable about the whole area. Definitely put this on your list!
