Washington at Sunset

Far exceeded our expectation. Got picked up at our hotel. Very nice tour bus. Very knowledgeable tour guide (Dave?). We stopped at all the great monuments and were provided great history on not only the monuments, but the government buildings and their history. We were familiar with most of the monuments, but received a lot of information we weren’t aware of or didn’t know. First time for us to see the Jefferson Monument up close. Really appreciated the time spent at the individual monuments. Well worth the price.

Best ever experience

David made our tour awesome. Our family of 4 ended up being the only participants and David did a fantastic job teaching us and telling us all kinds of history. He went above and beyond with picking us up and dropping us off at our hotel. Definitely recommend DC Nation Tours Night Monument Tour.

Hop on and Hop off tour with Magic LED

Just Wow. A very memorable tour for us. Our guide Mellanie was great. She took us to each monument and was really knowledgeable about everything. Our driver Robbin was also great and very professional throughout the tour. They provided us with snacks and water on the tour and the earpieces was a game changer. We all went around saw the monuments and the guide was able to communicate with us through the earpieces. They also provided LED bracelets which was a nice touch to our tour. So glad we took this tour.

A must to do in DC

I've taken tours with several different companies, but my tour with DC Nation Tours and Travel was by far the best experience I've had. Without a doubt, I highly recommend it. John, our tour guide, and Mistral, our driver, were both fantastic. They were professional, friendly, and made the entire experience enjoyable. We were also provided with light snacks, which was a nice touch. What I appreciated most were the earpieces. They allowed us to hear the guide clearly throughout the tour, even while walking around, exploring, and taking photos. It made the experience much more engaging and informative. Keep up the great work! I will definitely be back for another tour soon.

Excellent, but pricey

We absolutely loved the tour. David was an amazing tour guide giving us loads of information and history. His knowledge is amazing even reciting from memory all of Lincoln’s speech. 🎤 Eshitu was also a very good driver and we never felt unsafe. The only negative I would share would be the cost. We realize it is a wonderful experience with the guild’s voice right in our ear as well as snacks and water, but a family may find it out of their budget to then tip the guide and/or driver.
