This isn't about a good or bad review.... because of the protest, we were unable to do the tour. Our tour guide called me and let me know (which was very professional and great to do), he also stated he would make sure I got my refund. So, waiting for refund.
Guide was a no show. Called contact and no one answered or returned my call. I requested a refund ftom my credit card co
Our tour guide, Nur, was very knowledgeable and engaging. We had fun and learned so much. The African American museum was touching and at times overwhelming. We will be back.
This museum probably requires two trips. It is an extensive and complete historical trip through the beginning of the African Americans arriving in this country, through, the impact of African Americans on cultural aspects today. The museum is laid out well, and even when busy, it is possible to see all of the exhibits. Not to be missed.
A tour guide was great!! Very knowledgeable. He was funny. Took lots of photos for us. There was an issue when we got to the Museum but our guy quickly got it handled.
