Fatehpur Sikri near Agra is a fortified city built to serve as the capital of the Mughal Empire during the late 16th century. This magnificent fortified ancient city, 40 km west of Agra, was the short-lived capital of the Mughal Empire, during the reign of Emperor Akbar. the first planned city of the Mughals and also the first one designed in Mughal architecture, an amalgamation of Indian architecture, Persian and Islamic architecture. It was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1986…..!!

After visiting Taj Mahal, next head to Agra Fort. The Agra Fort is a historical fort in the city of Agra in India also known as the Red Fort.Built by the Mughal emperor Akbar in 1565 and completed in 1573, it served as the main residence of the rulers of the Mughal Dynasty until 1638, when the capital was shifted from Agra to Delhi

If you're in Jaipur and want to see the Taj Mahal, but really don't want to stay in Agra, this is the way to go. I highly recommend you to get this one day trip with Rajasthan Incredible Tours, it's a no-brainer! I went to Agra with the driver Salman, whom I've met two days before as he was also the driver when I did the one day sightseeing tour in Jaipur. He's just a wholesome person, very easygoing, and very nice to talk to (it's a long drive, so this is very important!). When we got to the Taj Mahal he arranged a guide for me and it all went smoothly. The Taj Mahal itself is incredible and breathtaking, I'm really fortunate and blessed to have the chance to see it with my own eyes. We decided to go for lunch in a cafe with a rooftop view I've seen on YouTube and as it was close by we went walking, which was also a very unique experience on the streets of Agra. If you want to go the cafe ask him and he knows the place. It was an awesome day full of good memories and I'm really glad to say that at the end I also made a new friend! Don’t even look for other tour companies. Hire Rajasthan Incredible Tours and ask for Salman. He toured my friend and I around Jaipur and we had such an amazing time we called him again to take us to the Taj Mahal. That’s 8-10 hours of driving so obviously we liked the guy. Salman made the drive very comfortable, pointed out landmarks on the way, advised us on how to handle the many hawkers, and was generally just a lovely person to talk to. The Taj Mahal is otherworldly. One of the most beautiful things I’ve been lucky enough to see. Do yourself a favor and book it now.

Salman is a great driver and a very honest and professional guide. The car was super clean and he brought us to Agra (Taj Mahal and so on) on the day and back from Jaipur, making the trip very comfortable.

It took 10 hours +++ as travelling and 3hours for visiting Taj Mahal. You have to do ticket process in advance and cosider for tour guide if you are not familar with that areas. Actually 3hours is not enough to do photos, site seeing , historical data, feeling architectures from 400 years ago. And we did not get time to go another places at Agra.

Very nice day early start but it was needed as chose to go there and back back in one day...our driver Jakir Khan was very professional. Helpful and an excellent driver... even though it was a long day he made sure we stopped for refreshments. Would defiantly recommend a trip with this tour company.
