Beautiful but exhausting excursion

Petra is definitely worth a visit, but the journey from Sharm is very intense. It takes almost 24 hours to get back to the hotel. In Petra itself you only spend about 3.5 hours. The journey from Egypt was a bit chaotic at first, it took quite a while for everyone else to be picked up and partly the bus was also simply standing, without the sense having opened up to us. It was very warm on the bus. The toilet on the bus was not usable, but shops were made for it. The tour guide in Egypt also always spoke in Russian and only in English. But everything was very well organized in Jordan. Our guide Karim was very nice and competent. He explained many interesting things in Petra but also gave us enough time to explore Petra himself. Conclusion: If you have always wanted to see Petra and are willing to put up with some strains, it is definitely recommended.

Very nice tour to Petra

Very nice tour, by bus and ferry, from Sharm to Petra via Acaba. The bus guide was excellent at managing the differents groups and the Petra guide Karim (he's from Petra) is an exquisite person. Recommended!

Petra the Beautiful the Unique

I want to thank the company for its excellent service and especially thank guide Karim for his professionalism. The beauty of the canyon and the mausoleums built there are magnificent. A lovely experience with excellent service.

A Fantastic Experience

Fantastic, everything well organized. We went to Petra for one day from Sharm el-Sheikh on comfortable, air-conditioned buses, then the fast ferry to Aqaba and then the bus to Petra. There were stops to eat and/or buy something for 20/25 minute along the trip, which were important. All the staff were friendly and the guide was very knowledgeable. They were very punctual on the schedule and precise on the return journey. Well organized. Well done! Congratulations to all of you. Thank you for this wonderful experience. Paolo T

Great for solo female travellers!

Loved this trip! I went as a solo female traveller and ended up meeting loads of lovely people on the tour. The tour is long so be prepared but very worth it. Only thing to bare in mind is that at Aqaba, Egpytian customs/officials did not allow take my camera into Jordan due to the lens (I brought my Canon with a 55mm lens) I was told the max was 50mm but couldn’t see any information about this anywhere nor online. In the end, I left my camera with Ali, our Egyptian guide who was lovely and took care of it until I returned in the evening. There was no hassle but it’s something to bear in mind. I also read online they don’t allow binoculars but I suspect this is specific to the Gulf between Egypt, Israel and Jordan.

Very nice trip!

The experience was quite pleasant, and the guide in Jordan(Ahmed ) was exceptional. However, I would like to provide some feedback regarding the guide in Sharm, who did not speak English (just a little bit ) and communicated only in Russian. Upon our arrival at the port, he addressed the Russian-speaking guests and directed them, while the English-speaking guests remained on the bus, uncertain of what to do. We found this situation to be quite disrespectful, especially since we had also paid for an English-speaking guide. Additionally, the itinerary for the trip in Jordan indicated that we would have one hour of free time in Aqaba, which we did not receive. I would recommend the trip overall; it was enjoyable.

Worth it!

We are trying to see all of the world’s modern wonders and we were down to Petra and Chichen Itza. We can finally say that we have seen Petra. We were looking for a day trip to Petra from Sharm El Sheikh. We found this tour and they seemed to be the best rated at a fair price. If you’re interested in doing the same thing we did, make sure that you are well rested. This is a long trip. Pick up Alone takes an hour because people from our group of 20 were billeted at separate hotels and each hotel does a security inspection. The there a 3 hour bus ride to the port, 1 hour sail to Jordan(this includes a pretty invasive security check at the ports). Then another 2 hour bus ride to Petra. Our guide Ahmed was fabulous and very knowledgeable. We love him. Petra did not disappoint. This so far is our third favorite among the seven wonders of the world. This made the tremendous hassle completely worth it. I advise you to pay an extra $15/person to go up the opposite side of the Treasury. The view is spectacular. After this we had a tasty lunch at the Sandstone restaurant and bought ice cream to cool us down from the heat. We then headed back to Sharm. It took 24 hours total. They do not add pick up and drop off time to the timeline. We advise you to go when it’s cool, otherwise sounds miserable. If we had to do this over again, we would have flown into Jordan from Cairo(Our port of entry into Egypt).

Thank you for a wonderful day ❤️

Beautiful day, very tiring but it was worth it. The agency is super organized, they pick you up from their hotel and follow you everywhere without leaving you alone. Once in Petra they offer you lunch in a restaurant in the area, all very cozy and good. The guide (in English) was amazing, he explained everything step by step. 100% advice

Absolutely Incredible Experience in Petra!

This trip to Petra was absolutely flawless! Everything was so well-organized and smooth that I was genuinely surprised at how effortless the experience felt. From the very start, the guides took excellent care of the group, ensuring we reached Petra as quickly as possible without any unnecessary stops at tourist bazaars. Their time management was impeccable, allowing us to maximize our time exploring this breathtaking wonder. The guides were incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate, making the journey even more fascinating. Walking through the Siq and seeing the Treasury emerge before my eyes was a moment I will never forget! This trip went far beyond my expectations—I highly recommend it to anyone wanting a well-planned, immersive experience in Petra! Ofc,the trip itself is exhausting, but the organizers did everything to make us as comfortable as possible.
