At Místico Arenal Hanging Bridges Park, the junction between the two types of ecosystems forming a transitional vegetation strip with high biodiversity occurred. In this forest we can observe both highland bird species, like bellbirds and species of trees like yema huevo, cirri and pilón. We can also see lowland species like toucans and Crested guans, and trees like caobilla, fruta dorada and maquenque. The treetop is a diverse and almost unknown environment to science; it is a space that offers a completely different perspective than the one seen from the ground, with various species of epiphytic plants, birds and butterflies.
Located north of Costa Rica, is the impressive Arenal Volcano, a natural phenomenon that attracts thousands of thousands of tourists for its permanent, extraordinary volcanic activity that on clear nights resemble pyrotechnic games with intermittent explosions of ash and lava. Finally, we will rest in one of the best hot springs in the area, where you can optionally have the oportunity to have a massage or spa treatment booked in advance. To close with a gold pin, an excellent dinner will be served, always with the best view of the Arenal volcano to not miss a single opportunity to observe its possible explosions of incandescent lights. After dinner we will return to San Jose.

Pickup 6:30 AM, back to my room near midnight almost 17 hours out. Hanging bridges hike was the best part, hot springs nice but way too long. The dinner stop dragged it out even more, and a crying toddler on the ride in didn’t help tours like this aren’t for little kids. As a solo traveler, never again it was pure torture. Not worth $355 for an almost 17-hour day that only got me 11k steps, which tells you how much time was wasted. If I were you, I’d take a bus to La Fortuna and plan it yourself.

Destiny Travel again provided a fantastic experience for my husband & I at the last minute. Another tour company canceled our booking because the hot spring they use was having power issues. This was a "must-do" for us and Arturo gave us a personal tour that lasted 15 hours! He drove very safely through the highway, countryside & cloud forest...navigating the "sleeping police" (i.e. speed bumps) with ease. The stop in Sarchi was educational & their souvenir shop has EVERYTHING you could want. We had an amazing lunch at Victorino's on the way then headed to the hanging bridges where we saw spider monkeys, vipers, toucans, tarantulas & hummingbirds among many other animals & vegetation. Our guide pointed out a lot that we would have missed without him showing us...the monocular allowed us to see even the tiniest animals in the rain forest. He even took photos through it & shared them with the group after using airdrop/whatsapp. Relaxing in Baldi's hot springs was a great way to end the day before the long drive back to San Jose...be prepared for the pools to get hotter as you go up the hill! I can't say enough great things about Arturo & how great he was throughout the LONG day...totally worth the $$!

Pickup on time in a clean comfortable van, after reconfirmation the night before. It was a long long drive out, but we were give ample restroom breaks coming and going. First stop is the artisan town of Sarchi, where we were given a brief tour of the historic oxcart factory. Clean restrooms and souvenirs shopping at Fábrica de Carretas Eloy Alfaro. Next up was Mistco Hanging Bridges Park and our group was provided with a private guided tour. A guide is necessary here, and we also had a skip line pass to enter. Last was the largest hot springs in the world, Baldi. They have locker & towel rental, showers, and changing rooms. Purchase your locker key, at the entrance. This place is huge. Things you may need; bug spray, small poncho, water socks, an old pair of tennis shoes or hiking shoes, and tip money. It is a long day, with moderate hiking involved, and our tour ran over a bit, and that shortened our time at Baldi. This is such a nice Combo tour. Recommend Destiny Tours for all tour excursions.

We went to Hopkins Beaches & Dreams in Belize this year and had a wonderful time. We went last year and enjoyed it so much we went back this year again. If you are looking for a small resort with a lot to do this is a place to go. We like it because it is not a party resort with ten bars, bands playing all night and loud guest. Very laid back, quiet and relaxing. Everyone there will know your name before you leave and treat you like they have known you all their life. They have many excursions to do during the day which can keep you very busy or you can hang out by the pool or ocean ! They have a wonderful restaurant and the best food we have ever had, and we have been to many countries and resorts! You will never go away hungry or disappointed. Also a bar fully stocked with many beverages ! My take on this resort is more for adults then families with children, not saying they are not welcomed but it's very laid back. We were a group of eight adults and all agree it is a wonderful place to go to relax and get away from it all!

This day trip was perfect for us. We are a mother/daughter duo visiting Costa Rica for the first time, and this trip really gave us a feel for the country and the people. We were picked up promptly at 7am by our driver, Daniel, and our guide Roger. Daniel is an EXCELLENT driver. The roads are narrow here, with no shoulders and people drive very aggressively. We never felt unsafe with Daniel driving. Roger is a phenomenal guide. He is very knowledgeable of the country's history and gave us a lot of excellent information along the drive. He made us feel safe and comfortable the entire day, which made our day so much more unforgettable. The Ox cart factory is great, and you are supporting local artists when you purchase souvenirs. At the hanging bridges, we had a personal guide, Julio, who was extremely knowledgeable and had a keen eye for spotting wildlife. We were fortunate to see many different species of animals, but it would have been fine if we hadn't because this was such a unique experience. The Baldi Hot Springs were the perfect way to end the day. We had 3 hours there, which was perfect. We would definitely recommend this trip and tour company. ✌️

Great whole day tour to be able to see great things from San Jose. The hanging bridges park is a great place to be up high and have a better look at the volcano. The Baldi hot springs is like a huge water park but it’s all heated and therapeutic. Lunch and dinner was included so you don’t have to worry about that. It was a good time.
Carla and Mauricio were marvelous tour guides. They know their country well and demonstrated the best hospitality. They always kept us informed of what was happening next and most importantly showed us a good time. I’ll definitely be back and will request them! Thanks guys!!
