Day trip from Marrakech to Essaouira, this excursion will take you to one of best the Moroccan atlantic coast cities We will start our day trip from Marrakech to Essaouira in the Morning, The departure from Riad/ hotel in Marrakech then drive to Essaouira, this city situated on the Atlantic coast, Essaouira has a steady year round temperature in the C20's. The expansive golden beach is popular with windsurfers. Famous fresh grilled seafood is served at the port, and in the medina thuja wood carvers and silver crafters work under the old Portuguese ramparts guarding the city from the sea. Medina Old Town is much smaller than Marrakesh and Fes, but many European owners' sensible shops and cafés are quiet and calm, so it's a recommended place to relax. Because it is a rural town, people are very good and the security is also very good. Also, because it is near the natural argan oil producing area that can only be collected in the southern part of Morocco, you get a good quality Argan oil. There are lots of BIO's Argan Oil Factory on the outskirts of the city, so you can also see the process of making Argan Oil, so please stop by all means. One of the most charming walkable medinas in all of Morocco. Recommended year round, especially in summer when it makes a nice relief from Marrakech heat......We will come back to Marrakech in evening

Well, I'm gonna start with one word that can descript all my trip which is safety. I went to the windy city which means Essaouira city where people has used to surf . Delicious food and it's real tradition morrocan especially Moroccan fish tagine or tagine with vegetables. I tried to surf for free all day that was my gift from one of my friend that I had met in Morocco last year.Special Thanks Mission travel Morocco

My friend and I participated in the one day trip from Marrakech to Essaouira organized by Mission Travel Morocco. Both Marrakech and Essaouira are very charming cities, but we realized that going around with a local guide makes the experience much better, as we got to see corners of the city we would never have found on our own otherwise. We didn't originally plan to go to Essaouira as we wanted to visit more famous cities like Fes or Rabat, but in the end it turned out to be my favourite stop in Morocco - it's a really beautiful and calm seaside town and it should be a must-go stop. Our guide Walid was very competent and organized, so the trip was pleasant and everything went smoothly. He speaks excellent English and he's a very knowledgeable and extroverted guy, so he taught us a lot about Moroccan culture and gave us lots of tips and suggestions for our trip. It was a wonderful trip and we recommend choosing this activity to anyone interested in connecting with a local guide and gaining a deeper understanding of the country!
