Shah Jahan’s last architectural extravagance, the Jama Masjid towers over Old Delhi and is India’s largest mosque. Jama Masjid rivals the grandeur of the neighboring Red Fort in its scale and beauty. The aesthetic use of white marble and red sandstone, it is easily one of the prettiest Mughal-era mosques in India. The whole structure exudes peace and harmony. The south minaret evidences the swarms of pigeons, in contrast to the chaotic yet colorful commercial street of Old Delhi.
Explore the bustling streets on foot and, rickshaw ride leading your way to Khari Baoli. It is a street in Old Delhi as Asia's largest wholesale spice market selling all kinds of spices, nuts, herbs and food products like rice and tea. We will also enjoy a rickshaw ride through Chandani Chowk, one of the oldest shopping streets of Delhi. Chandani Chowk is the perfect blend of history, culture, and vivacity of the city.
This is the first Garden Tomb in Asia and is a UNESCO World Heritage site too. After a century from its construction, Humayun’s Tomb inspired the construction of the more famous Taj Mahal. This spellbinding mausoleum is the first example of Mughal architecture in India with small water channels and fountains. The interspersing of red sandstone and white marble in its arched facades is the striking feature of this mausoleum that from a distance seems to hover mid-air.
The India Gate originally the All India War Memorial is a war memorial located on Rajpath, on the eastern edge of New Delhi, formerly called Kingsway. It stands as a memorial to 70,000 soldiers of the British Indian Army who died between 1914–1921 in the First World War.13,300 servicemen's names, including some soldiers and officers from the United Kingdom, are inscribed on the gate.
Rashtrapati Bhavan is previously known as "Viceroy's House" is the official home of the President of India located at the Western end of Rajpath in New Delhi, India. Rashtrapati Bhavan may refer to only the 340-room main building that has the president's official residence, including reception halls, guest rooms, and offices, also called the mansion.
Lotus Temple is a notable architectural marvel famous for its unique lotus structure. It is the last of seven Major Bahai's temples built around the world. The temple has won several awards and recognitions for its style of building, the concept of religion and the beauty. Among the many historical monuments and archeological remains in Delhi, the most notable, both in antiquity and arresting design, is the Qutub Complex. The red sandstone tower is not only one of the finest monuments in India, but also in the world. This is the first mosque that was built in the country. This monument in India is one of the highest Minar in India and considered the earliest Islamic monument in India.
Designated a protected monument by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), is a 60-meter long and 15-meter wide historical step well on Hailey Road, near Connaught Place, in New Delhi. Although there are no known historical records to prove who built Agrasen ki Baoli, it is believed that it was originally built by the legendary king Agrasen, architecture hints at it being rebuilt in the 13-14th century during the Tughlag period of Delhi Sultanate

Tailored a unique trip at my own pace and seeing only the things I wanted to see, Manu Walia is the best licensed guide possible, with a lot of good conversation and laughter. Secondary licensed associates Mehraj and Aasim were informative and helpful with local knowledge or recommendations. Sunil was a kind and cheerful driver, I would use them again without hesitation.
We booked the Qutb-minar tour. We were picked up at the hotel by Aasim and driver Sunil. We went to Agrasen ki baoli, where we learned the history of the place, and then to Humayun’s tomb. Asim told us the history and stories of the tomb, and then we explored the grounds. Following this, we went to Qutb minar and spent a good amount of time in the Qutb complex. We were then dropped back at the hotel. I would recommend this tour.

Our day was fabulous with Asim our tour guide, very knowledgeable on all sites visited, very friendly nothing was an issue we went to other sites that weren’t mentioned in tour and we just had the best day. Big thankyou to Sunil our driver in such traffic congestion. Would highly recommend this tour

Rajindeer was great, he took me to some of the hidden treasures of New Delhi you would not see on any of the other tours. He spoke perfect English and I will highly recommend him. The car was in pristine condition and very clean. He was very thoughtful and carried snacks for guests. He even made a stop so I could eat some coconuts from street vendor.

Asim my tour guide was amazing, I only had a day to spare in Delhi which unfortunately happened to also be the Republic Day, but he was able to hit all the highlights of Delhi with me which surprised me a lot. He's experienced and knowledgeable, I will highly recommend Asimov's with Day Tours.
