This is a small budgeted tour that gives one a chance to interact with giraffes in their natural habitat and also orphaned baby elephants within Nairobi Africa. Your Guide is experienced and will be able to tell you more about Kenya and Nairobi. we are able to also take you to kobe tough women beads factory at no extra cost since its in the area. Here you see how single women and making beads product for a living. Airport pick up at the beginning or end of the tour is possible at a small extra fee

Spend 2 to 3 hours . There will be a guide who will give us a lot of conservation information about the girrafe and what the trust is doing.
Have a small visit to the Kazuri beads and get into the factory where they process the beads and even buy some as souveniors to help develop the community
A famous white settler story, depicted in the famous movie Out of Africa. You’ll learn the story of this amazing woman and how she changed the lives of the local people.

- As of 19th September 2023, the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) has mandated that all those visiting the SWT Elephant Nursery are required to pay park fees for Nairobi National Park. This is an entirely separate payment to our Nursery entry donation, and it must be paid via the eCitizen online platform. We apologise for any inconvenience this new arrangement may cause and would encourage you to access the Nairobi National Park for a game drive either before or after your visit to us as you will have already paid all relevant fees for the day. This beautiful jewel of a Park, uniquely situated close to our capital city, which can benefit enormously from your support.

An engaging half-day tour of Nairobi's highlights. We loved feeding the giraffes at the Giraffe Center while learning about its conservation mission, stepping back in time at the Karen Blixen Museum, watching the intricate craft of traditional bead-making at Kobe Tough, and admiring the original paintings from Kenyan artists . An interesting half-day tour of the main attractions in Nairobi. The Giraffe Center was such a treat and our guide Stephen was extremely knowledgeable about the place and the animals. The Karen Blixen estate is a must see in Nairobi. Such a peaceful and calming environment in a busy city.

We had a wonderful time with our driver who took us to many very interesting places-a women’s fabrication coop, the Giraffe Center, a Masai shop and Karen Blixen Hotel.

We enjoyed the bead making, the giraffe centre was good but a little rushed and Karen Blixens house was interesting. Would have preferred to spend more time with the giraffes and skip the craft shop.

Feeding the giraffes was wonderful !!! Seeing these beautiful animals up close was life changing. They are so gentle and graceful and friendly.
