Take a picnic lunch and drive to our nearest National Park. See the Ngurdoto crater and Momella lakes. In deed the park has a wealth of wildlife including Colobus Monkeys, velvet monkeys, bushbucks, buffalos, red forest duikers, hippos, elephants, warthog, olives, baboons, colobus monkey, dik dik and giraffes. Birdlife, especially waterfowl, is abundant and interesting. You may be lucky enough to see thousands of flamingos on the big lake.

After our other tour cancelled on us at the last minute, I got in touch with African Choice and they were able to set up a 1 Day Arusha Safari at short notice. Our guide, Nora, was fantastic and very knowledgeable about the wildlife and local ecosystem. I’m planning on returning for a longer safari in a year or two and will definitely book with African Choice again!
